So before Itsuki became a national asshole, it's safe to say I enjoy the complex viewpoint spread out in this show. in the sense that these two characters having interestingly different viewpoints on matters at hand where you can actually SEE and understand them from each lens they're coming from, making it somewhat impossible to hate and disregard them immediately.I think the writer/director did an interesting job here.
I swear to God I want to angry and HATE Itsuki. I also want to hate Yuma... Which I was getting to doing before Ep4 and now itsuki I don't know.. Jeez. I think I'm hating him Because I fucking don't understand what was running through your self righteous mind for doing such thingg at that MOMENT. AT THAT DAMN MOMENT. at least have some braincells. Terrible timing for such philosophical announcement if you ask me because ARH JESUS I don't even know what to say. I think that's his character at the end of the day.
neither like I don’t understand why your first thought would be if this Bl or not ?
Bl doesn't need to occur between a college guy and an old man. Other characters exist. And since YOU'RE so at home with the drama premise, it won't take you anything to simple say "No" rather than assuming it weird. when IF same question was asked for romance, you definitely wouldn't. It's not even from you, many people react like this as if assuming gayness upon someone is a disgusting crime or something.
Besides, I don't need your sexuality ID to make you innocent from that condemnation

why do you have a problem when someone insinuates a gay romance when if someone had just asked "is this romance?" y'all would be reacting differently?? Quite homophobic if you ask me.
Because this question could literally demand a "None" answer and everyone will be cool.
but I've noticed that when someone asks if it will have something gay or so, y'all get triggered instead
Attempting an Interpretation of Their First Meeting Holding a Falling Cross {So far fave symbolism}
There's something symbolically daring about that scene and Not in a romantic way but just arhh.
The falling of the cross at such a pivotal meeting could suggest a religious disorder and the two (regarded as impending embodiment of sin) holding the cross in such "crossed" manner could suggest a LOT
Like the "Sin" meeting the sacred. In an attempt to ordain and ground their first meeting in something sacred - regardless of the perception of their Union as sin.. perhaps the writer attempts to ground their Union in line with something sacred.
Or maybe suggesting a religious disorder erupting from their meeting while also suggesting how sacred this bond is to be. Because this "sin" actually could hold onto this religious disorder that it actually didn't storm.
quick note: Play the song SUN BLEACHED FLIES By ETHEL CAIN. It needs to be an OST here lol and. I NEDD THIS SHOW TO FEEL LIKE THAT SONGGGG
I've been seeing YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL by Lana song used for this drama edit a lot when I think the real song in question that should also be considered is Sun bleached flies. Perfectly encapsulates the messages here to some devastating extent
if I remember correctly, chine has a lot of censorship stuff going like they don't allow lots of stuff. And Rebirth is one of them. so any drama where in the novel (one which isn't xianxia or fantasy) that a character reborn and comes back to life or goes back in time, is mostly censored.
Eg. Love like the galaxy, the novel had such trope but It was scrapped out. The double, The Glory and legend of female General also had that trope but they removed the rebirth
