I understand mythology and have seen Goblin. so before I asked this question I have made my thinking and consideration but it's still disturbing how they decided to take it from the bible. Doom is one of my fav drama and so is Goblin and I was able to get through them happily because they didn't make such religious reference as in a Cross upside down and a context from the Holy Bible and all. They just when all pure Korean Myths. even My girlfriend is a gumiho. These are my classic favs. But the disturbing aspect remains the religious aspects. like I'd be good if they could come up with a fictional religion Maybe...🥲
This is one of those drama Where I literally understand things EP by ep because There is a lot going on. and I don't get most of them so slowly getting it EP by ep. even their names and Especially the rankings in the world and even the FL origin and motive and whole premises of the drama ..
So basically when I started the show my eyebrows was first raised at their interpretation of a demon ( basically…
No. I don't think Demons and God have anything in common. And this drama gives that. It states Demons are enemies of God. and it has always been like that. In this drama...The ML who is a demon basically has people sell their soul to him to get what they want...This is basically similar to what happens in music industry.. selling soul for fame and dying at a certain time. so this is what the devil does and not the work of the Good
A Question for all viewers who are Interested in answering without getting TOXIC pertaining religious reference
So basically when I started the show my eyebrows was first raised at their interpretation of a demon ( basically first few minutes in EP 1) And I'm like oh.. ok...sure..As long as it's not the plot. Then In EP one More happens. We have Our demon lead entering the Catholic home ..I'm like...ok... let's see where this goes. and then when the male lead picked up the cross to hand it Over to the kid ..He turns it upside down...( which if you're a Catholic... You'll know what that means...) And when he leaves makes a sentence like... I'm still powerful or good or something that express, he still got it. I'm like...sure ..Ok? then the next happens.Basically in that fishing scene had me... Sighing because if You're a Christian..You should get it. Basically in the original context, Jesus walks up to his future disciples who has been fishing for ages and didn't get any fish. and Jesus tells them...cast your nest into the fish and you'll get abundant fish. they were reluctant at first but still did it.. and A whole lot of fish they got. and Jesus told them to follow him ...and they did.so in the drama...for viewers.. did you see something going on here? ( And don't say I'm Exaggerating please..There are literally millions of way to make a scene...But this ..why?)Well I get he's a Demon and all but still.. is that necessary tho? And a DEMON with a cross... catholic reference too..ane use his evil.. power with control of the cross....what? .Well glad to see a Catholic Mother...But i don't know what this drama is going throw at that concept next because Kdrama never fails to do it for me. and to think that the drama is basically ROMANTICISING Demon... personally doesn't sit right with me. and I suppose a redemption plot would sit well with me ( Since they used catholic in the first place...End it with a Catholic logic teaching then)These are takes that didn't sit well with me so I want people to try and justify and defend this without getting all Toxic and religious slandering.
HITV basically has Subs but with Unknown dramas like this..and Since they themselves can't get the subs from somewhere…
Hmm....But I guess what HITV won't dive into providing quality subs for themselves is basically that They're Basically a free site. which is rare for an app. and the drama isn't so famous to generate them views and stuff
If you see it from the original title then they're much different. The english title is too common indeed and…
Is that so? I like Poetic phrases which I why I like Chinese language (which I'm studying) if you know the meaning can you break down the poetic theme of the name? or simply meaning
