Well I didn't before but since you didn't ask :D I personally am glad the 2nd couple doesn't have a lot of screen time. I don't feel anything coming from them nor do I feel anything for them, so yaih more Hua Yong & Sheng any day ^^

Seriously. Are there plot holes? Yes. Are bits and pieces cringy. Yes. Is the pacing odd? Sometimes. Other issues? Yes. Is it a 10/10. No. Is it still a 10/10 in my personal book nontheless. Big YES :D
It's like a mexican tele novela but Chinese style and I finally get how ppl can be so obsessed with it ^^


(Though fair enough I only care for Hua Yong & Sheng, I gave up on the other couple - didn't feel ANYTHING coming from them o.O anyway...)

I'm already craving & begging for a 2nd season!! SO MUCH! Haven't been invested in a series that much for ages!

Question regarding Ep.9 - why does Sheng ask who he is? Is it supposed to be pitch black or sth? But then again he can hear his voice, wouldn't he not at least recognize that? More or less same with the other couple.

Genuinely love the show, just sometimes - yet a bit too often - Thada stands there and the look on his face is soooo dumb. Like not a thought behind those eyes xD and it annoys me as much as it amuses me. Look sharp, dude!

I feel like in the end both deserve better. Which is probably why I don't care about them and started skipping their scenes. Waste of time, unfortunately.

Good lord. For real? How incredibly annoying. And only annoying, nothing else. Hmm maybe enraging 😅
But srsly, I mean, everyone has their own limit, but I can't stand it anymore since Ep.5 or 6, even if others still love it now, which I can hardly imagine... WHY? It's so pointless. It's the same thing over and over again.

So yes, I guess I will keep skipping, I act found it to be more fun that way too :)

Gotta admit I basically only really care for Hua Yong and Sheng 😅 the main "issue" with the other couple is going one for way too long now anyway. Could've ended in Ep7 and it'd be ok, but we're in 12. That's ridiculous. But maybe that's just me. Either way, it doesn't help or even IS the reason why I basically only care for the other two.
I even found myself skipping some scenes in the last two episodes to jump forward to the next scene with Hua Yong & Sheng 😭 wished it'd be different, but meeh.

hahaa at first I was like "whaaaaat, I love a good size difference", but now that I've seen the first episode - I SO know what you mean. It's not just that one if taller or smaller, it's like... no idea, one is a hobbit or the other a giant (size-like). Like they're not the same species xD
But true, it's ultimately ok and I can still watch it too. But yes, I really get it!

Arrghhh... I was SO damn excited when someone told me this show for ONCE will start with the couple already being a couple. Finally. Not them trying to find each other - tho not before ep9, then break up in Ep11 and back together 5min before the end - no, it's an actual plot around a couple, with couply moments, issues and fun.

But then: Amnesia arc. Meaning, not only does that destroy my excitement for the crazy rare PROPER couple-plot, no - for me an amnesia plot is the worst genre ever - well, right after bodyswap, that's even worse really.
Soooo frustrating for me.

(Plus, we'll have Santa yet again act more like a child than an adult. That was fine in P10L tho, but only just.)

Haaa, maybe this will be the very first amnesia plot I'll ever like? Because it's Perth & Santa at least? I really hope so.

But again. Hypocrisy.
Like I said, people love vampire romances - yet the vampire is always way older than the human, but hey, pretty face, so people don't care, when the 112y old kisses the 17y old.
Or did you watch (let's say) Twilight and pictured Edward as an crazy winkly old man and shut of the movies the second you knew he fancies her? (Same with plenty of other stories btw.)
Only difference with TPotS is: We wouldn't have to picture him, we shortly actually saw him. And uuuuh gamechanger.

I kinda understand. But that means... when it comes to it, it's really is all about appearances and looks. We are that shallow and suuuuch Hypocrites!
Tho if that helps, I kinda think there's an old soul in both of them. But we'll have to wait and see.

Isn't it weird that some say stuff like "oh no I can't watch it since it's the old man's soul"? Actually understandable, but then I remembered how many of us loved Twilight? Or Vampire Diaries? Or Shadowhunter? Edward was way over 100, Stefan & Damon a couple of hundred years old and Magnus around 600? And we all loved and love it.
The old man here would still be "too young" for any of those four - especially for those saying they can't watch the show bc of it.

I mean obviously I loved the show - but did anyone else miss the "finale episodes" feeling. It was a bit anticlimatic. We already knew that the show didn't really know how to handle reunion scenes, they all were rather anticlimatic (be it after the breakup, when his mum died, the kidnapping or after the prison), but something was missing in general.
Buuuut that's high-grade complaining :D because the show as a whole was a masterpiece!! (Tho I do mourn a good reunion scene after all ^^).

God the trailer gives the expectations quite a boost! CAN'T WAIT! Didn't have that in ages!!

Right :D yes, glad it's not just me. Like, with Perth from Love by Chance it's no biggie to watch Perfect 10 Liners, bc he has a new actor by his side. I loved them. Loved him and Santa in it. And I'm basically happy there'll be a new drama with them, but I fear it might just have the same effect on me. So a 2nd season would be the dream, bc then I can just continue with the characters I know. Haaa, anyway, they probably won't change that anytime soon, so yeah, once all episodes are out, I'll give it a try (and try this soulmates in different lives thing ^^).

Ok - am I alone in this or not? I know two actors sticking together in Thailand and acting again as a couple in the next show is crazy common. And in a way I'm happy about it sometimes, bc yaih more of Nouel & Boss or Perth & Santa or in this case Mile & Apo. But at the same time it's sooooooo damn weird to me. Like I can rewatch LitA, P10L or KP a million times, no biggie, but starting a new show with them means fighting a heavy cringy feeling for me. Even though it might be another masterpiece, the acting is chef's kiss and everything is maybe even better.
Not sure why I'm having this issue. Maybe bc it makes it visible that they're actors? Not that I don't know that :D (and frankly seeing too much of them off screen isn't too good for me either, bc it kills the illusion even more. Bc what do you mean Kinn & Porsche aren't real ^^). So yes, maybe it has something to do with seeing Kinn & Porsche (in this case, same with the other couples), but they're not Kinn & Porsche. And if only one of them is in a new show, then it's not Kinn, but a new character, bc Kinn isn't Kinn without Porsche.

Sorry, long text, but everyone is so happy about the new show, like they rightfully should be, while I'm here, struggling yet again with starting a new show with the same paring - which I actually love, so what's my problem!?

Still haven't seen boy next world properly, bc of that issue -.- I annoy myself.
