Brilliant but Heartbreaking
This was such a great watch! I honestly regret not watching it when it first came out, but that’s adult life, I guess! 😂Anyway, the storyline, character development, plot, and acting were all amazing. You definitely have to give it a chance, though—the first episode starts off quite confusing, but trust me, it gets SO good!
I loved all the characters. I mean, I came for Trin and Tawan, but my heart was completely stolen by Nara and the Colonel! And honestly, even the villains were incredibly well done.
I also loved the film music and, oh my god, the costumes! The clothes they chose for each character were unbelievably good-looking and fit the characters so well. The whole visual style of the series was just beautiful.
There were, however, a few things I didn’t like. I feel like Nara and the Colonel were done dirty, and I’m still not over it. 😭 But at the same time, the wife as the true villain was phenomenal. I was crying and completely in awe at the same time!
One other thing that bothered me was the amount of smoking. For some reason, literally everyone seemed to be a smoker! 😂 I know the story takes place in the 60s and that smoking was very common back then, but the sheer amount of cigarettes felt like a bit too much.
All in all, this was a really great watch! Brilliant, emotional, beautifully acted, and absolutely heartbreaking. Definitely a series I’m glad I finally watched!

Nice leads, a bit too long
Istumbled upon this drama and ended up really enjoying it, so I kept watching. However, one thing that bothered me was that at some point it felt too long without much real development.For example, the Storm Alliance arc could have been handled better. I think they should have focused more on Ning Fei and the Doctor Lady during that part, letting them deal with their storyline, while the others handled separate plots. Also, the Xia guy became quite irrelevant after leaving Sucha, which felt like a missed opportunity—he could have had more development when he returned.
At the beginning, I really disliked the sister with her puppy-love behavior and honestly wanted her gone. But later on, I actually loved her dynamic with Emperor Xia. Their weird, toxic relationship was strangely cute to watch, and his death felt really cruel.
Overall, it’s a decent watch. I did skip a few scenes here and there, but the lead actors did a great job.

Wholesome
This was cute but boring.I love the manga, and I know that in a series adaptation it will never be the same, which is why this was cute and nicely paced, but still a bit boring.
I did like the OST. What I was missing, though, was more animal interaction. I mean, Shizuma is a vet, and the brother is supposed to own a rabbit shop, so they should have included that more in the series.
If you want to watch something wholesome, then this is the series for you.
The characters were likable, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, but the story sometimes felt a bit too slow, and not much really happened. I was hoping for a bit more emotional depth and character development.

The MC was good
I had zero expectations when I started watching this because I had no idea what it was about. So I was very pleasantly surprised.The main characters were great, they had a good storyline, and I really enjoyed the mystery surrounding the murder and the occult aspects of the story — and all of that in a BL! The story itself felt like a masterpiece. At times, I even had to pause and remind myself that this was a BL because the storytelling was just that good.
And contrary to popular opinion, I enjoyed the last three episodes just as much. The reveal of the murderer and the resolution of the whole case were very well done. Again, considering that this is a BL, it was fantastic.
The only thing I didn’t really like was the second couple, the two doctors. I didn’t find either of them particularly likable, and I also felt that they didn’t add much to the police case.
Overall, this drama felt like a genuinely well-crafted story, and I really hope to see more BL series like this in the future.

I really enjoyed watching this!
The acting is great, the story is engaging, and the side characters and couples are just as enjoyable to watch as the main leads. The music chosen for the scenes fits perfectly and adds a lot to the overall atmosphere.One of my favorite parts was the “she doesn’t know who he is” storyline in the military camp — it had me laughing so hard! The final scenes with Song Wo (I forgot his full name) were also absolutely hilarious.
Overall, I loved this show and had a great time watching it!

This was hilarious
I loved it so much. As a non-Thai speaker, I usually struggle with comedy dramas because I only understand about half of the jokes. However, this one was so well done that even I could understand and enjoy most of the humor.It had many unpredictable comedic moments without trying too hard to be funny, which made it perfect for me.
The acting was good, and the story was pleasant and well-balanced. It didn’t try to be more than it needed to be, and that made it feel very natural and enjoyable.
Personally, I could have done without Episode 10 — it was a bit too much filler for my taste. Other than that, it was a perfect story, and the fact that it happened to be a BL was simply the cherry on top.

it was fine.....
Overall, it was an okay watch. I especially liked the storyline with the murder mystery and the group of college students. The plot had a few twists and turns that were handled quite well, which kept things interesting.However, in my opinion, the actor who played Kamin was a bit weak. I also didn’t really like the way the story was edited. They often showed the murder first and then switched to a soft, romantic scene with the characters who later discover the body. I think it would have worked better the other way around to build more suspense.
This is just my personal opinion, but I also think the story would have benefited from a second couple. They could even have focused more on the college students, which might have made the story feel more balanced.
The main leads felt a bit too boring to carry so much of the focus, mainly because they didn’t really have a strong storyline of their own. Their scenes sometimes felt like they belonged to a completely different narrative, and then the show would suddenly switch back to the actual plot.
All in all, it was still an okay watch with an interesting concept, but it had some weaknesses in the execution.
