even if you have a dream cast ,but the male lead would be a actor who has less fans than the Female Lead because not everyone is like Liu Yuning who never had any problem to act a FL centric drama. I don't know why billing has become so big issue in C-industry.In korea or Japan,we can see many popular actor actresses are acting together but it has become almost impossible in china for two popular stars to act together .
If they cast any popular actor then they changed it from FL centric to ML centric.I wouldn't mind these changes if the novel is not good . For example I didn't like the novel version of the longest promise ,the novel had many criticism as well but the drama version changed it from fl centric to ml centric also changed many plots ,i know everyone has different preference but the drama was far better than the novel to me.
On the other hand I liked Who rules the world novel version more than the drama,In the drama they changed it from FL centric to ML centric also they make some differences in ML's character .That novel had good rating and both of the main characters were popular but for me the drama didn't give justice to the novel.
That's why i don't want them to change it.I would rather prefer any rising or less popular actor as XJX.Yes they can make it equal centric by adding more details in XJX's background story,Such as i always think the part where he told about his parents,how his mother saved him,how his father wanted to kill him,should be written in more details.
