I fast forward through all couple scenes around the last 20 episodes I ff through all of them. I probably watched 5-10 minutes of each episode. I initially dropped this because it was filled with insanely stupid adults making horrible choices and decisions
I picked it back up and much didn't change.
it definitely could have been better, starting with the writing.
I think most writers lose grasp the deeper they get into the story. things start to disconnect, no longer make sense, and get drawn out for too long.
Cinderella game. at first I couldn't figure how it related. as usual many Asian titles don't really relate to the s|ries at all lol
here are my thoughts on how this relates.
The evil cousin is Cinderella. She went from hand me downs to everything that the real daughter should have had. She is expecting to be the heir of the family and business. she will have it all.
BUT AT MIDNIGHT... when the ⌚ strikes 🕛 12 she will lose everything. Her coach will turn back into a pumpkin, her coachmen back into rats, and her clothes that covered her back in to rags.
at that time a new Cinderella rises. Hana will have everything, the wealth and the real heir.
then in the back of my mind I have this thought that the daughter really isn't dead and she will be the new Cinderella claiming what was rightfully hers. remember in Cinderella before she was rags, she was riches and her stepmother and sisters stole it from her.
what is your take on Cinderella Game and how it relates to the drama?
I agree, she is complex. It's almost like she's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, only so far, we only seen her bad side…
we do have her care for her claimed nephew, his surgeries and the charity. I wonder if she did those things to offset her bad business dealings.
I wonder if she was a raider before her daughter went missing.
I really like her character. just for the fact that it is different from most characters, where they make them extreme on one end and very lacking on the other. with her she is oddly balanced. she is calm, respectful, and appears normal. compared to other similar characters where they are usually, loud and wrong on all aspects, with no respect for others including family.
Dr Jekyll & Mr. Hyde is a great name for her character type.
Is this a remake of Vengeance of the Bride (2022)? It's basically the same plot! But this is so addictive, I watched…
I don't find them similar at all. vengeance of the bride.
She was adopted by the person who killed her father. They were out for secret methods to make better products. he did takeover his business.
in this series this woman raided businesses, she had no personal relationship with the family, she didn't adopt any of the kids. it's reverse in this situation, the family she destroyed ended up taking care of her grandson.
she raided companies, the other killed his best friend for a formula and took over his company. raids and takeovers are different.
Ji Seok is not discreet at all. He keeps saying what should be said.
why would he tell his sister his plans if he won't tell her why he planned it.
Why keep openly asking about Chairwomans personal issues when he should only be concerned about the business.
and why keep asking about things he already has the answer to.
I understand his revenge but his methods are annoying especially the way he distances himself from Hana and expects her to obey him while knowing nothing at all.
You’re always complaining about the same thing. If these dramas are not your thing than don’t watch! Save…
it's a comment section where people can give their opinions. people should be able to express their likes and dislikes as much as they like.

lol, that was people can only read what they want to. even though they weren't forced to read what they don't like.
I find it so meaningless to tell people what they should or shouldn't write. when in fact they should know not to read what they don't want to read and keep it moving.

I hope Ji Seok doesn't use Eu Cheong in his revenge plan once he finds out who he is.
there are so many ways this can go. We really don't know what to expect. and with 100 episodes I didn't expect this revelation so early.

and the conversation about her business handling.
she created situations to force these people into debt and then took over their businesses.
no just the goo family, but many others.
even in the latest episodes her husband expands on it a bit.
she is loving and caring when it comes to regular people.
But she is a wolf and viper when it comes to business, and there she loses her compassion for people involved.

I will wait until it's done to watch. looks like this is 2 episodes a week... I hate the waiting.
Plus VIki comments are awesome. watching it when it first airs... not many comments
