The drama is not bad at all.
I like the cultural differences, Thai & Chinese
My favorite is the fighting - I love Thai fighting. Now I feel like watching Ong Bak.
The racing is a good add.

I hope to see her dad straighten up, I'd love to see some daddy/daughter racing moments.

As soon as I saw her as lead I decided not to like this drama because I knew she'd be speaking like a 7 year old.

I wish they would stop doing dramas like this. If you grew up even thinking someone was your sibling, having intimate thoughts of them later is just weird.

This seems like it should have been a web series 15 minutes each episode instead of full episodes

I started out disliking the drama the moment I saw Esther. The sound of her voice is so annoying TO ME.

BUT I'm gonna give a few episodes a try

Her thinking he was her brother is enough for me. You don't grow up thinking someone was your sibling and then have intimate thoughts of them. That's just weird.

They were both very smart, and it was very personal

I love the dimensional dynamics of each character.
When they introduced Rui - I am sure we all expected him to be lazy or corrupt. Yet he is very strategic, wise and fair.
Marshal Jui - they introduced him as serious, harsh, and to be feared. 😂 Yet he is willing to be toppled in a rice barrel and lose face for a dollar. - That was an interesting twist.

This started off foolishly, definitely did not peak my interest. It started off like a joke. They could not be serious. Lol but they were.

I'm on episode 18, hope it at least maintains decency from here on out

There is nothing else to watch. I hate when this happens. Something really good like the series airs, then nothing else entertains me. 😂

I looked at the directors other dramas and none seems to come close to this.

This drama is progressively slow, and I don't mind. I already miss it as it's coming to an end soon.
. definitely will be on my rewatch list.

This drama is very well written, produced and directed.

lol that is why I did not respond. They only wrote 2 sentences. Lol what was there to miss or misunderstand.

There is no romance in this drama. There is love & relationships - but no romance. I find their love story to be beautiful and very realistic. I love their family dynamics. They had 3 families come together as one and live peacefully in the middle of chaos.

I do not think he is trying to drive a wedge between them. He is keeping Li Qin at bay by using Gu for what he is intended to do. Li Qin is also using that as an excuse to try to manipulate Gu into submission. I believe even if it was another person in place of Li Qin - viceroy Rui would still use Gu to get things done. That is the purpose of him being there.
