My Asian Drama lover's creed is - I am a lover of the art not the artist. I'm not a fan of artists more than I am a fan of great productions.
I see a lot of people displeased with the FL.
They feel someone else could have done a better job.
I feel she has done great so far. She has done the role that was written for this drama well.
Many are expecting more from the FL but she has delivered what was written.
This isn't an attention grabbing drama. Even the ML's character isn't an attention grabbing role.
This drama is laid back, on a continuous processing mode. It flows slowly, but continuously. There are no at-cha moments.
So I'm not sure what others are expecting the female lead to deliver.
She's a young, beautiful, merchants daughter. Lol that's her role. What else do you want thus far?
Everyone is welcomed to their opinions and preferences, and I respect them all. I just wished viewers were able to look passed popularity, beauty and notoriety and see the beauty of a production in whole.
as the architect of Gu's father's death & his exile. am I the only one suspecting him ?
I also suspect him and I hate it because I'm tired of the trope with close proximity. Why couldn't it be some random person. Why his friends dad. Annoying

So the stepmother was Stella and introduced him to another Stella. Had the other Stella have his son, thinking after he died his fortune would go to Stella Young & son. Lol but he fooled them. He loved his wife and gave her everything. 😲
I'm on episode 4 so far soooo good. I love the characters, pacing, story, production. It's so good to be out of the palace and noble houses and into the everyday lives of the people and in the grasslands
The chairman made the show. I missed him when he was gone. FL was beautiful and did a wonderful job with the script that was written for her.
Her step daughter had an exceptionally well written script compared to other characters. The villains character outshined everything else. But she was also beautiful and played her role too well 😂
I actually like all the characters, they all had their purpose.
At the end I enjoyed the drama yet was still very disappointed because it started off with something new and failed to end with what they were giving in episode 1 and 2.
This started off soooo good. Then he left and the show is like blah. I finally made it to ep 6 and was hoping the VIki comments would make it better. .but the comments are awful .she's ugly, she's stupid, about every female character. Why do so many of our fellow viewers hate women so much?
I don't like the lead characters but they are doing a good job.
I keep stopping watching it because I can only take this nonsense in increments. 😂
I just made it to episode 15. I hope I don't see anymore of these writer forced relationships being put together. .Ying & Li seems forced And the twins definitely just feels weird if not forced. They just need to play brother and sister and be done.
Because it's not what people expected. Most probably wanted something more serious. But I find this perfect and…
Don't assume that people actually research dramas before they watch them. LOL many people don't even read the descriptions. And that is ok. Many probably (like me) look at the poster and head to the comments.
