I have never heard of Get ever before, not in season 1 or in the novel. Nao becomes friends with North, Skate and Ikkyu in the novel when he starts University. They do the same course as him (electrical engineering). Skate was the one who joined their gaming team (It was Tiger, Nao, Mickey, North and Skate), but in season 2, they replaced Skate with Get completely. This makes me think it was an issue with the actor being unavailable, but since it was a minor role, they were able to just switch the character and call it a day.

Not gonna lie. I'm happy about the plot and everything. I just feel the last 2 eps after they started at Uni went too fast. It was a slow burn, and now that they've started Uni, they're trying to rush through it.

That confused me a lot too. But I think I just tend to rely on numbers, which is why this whole thing started (My degree is 90% Maths after all) 😭😭 I think the reason they used an older child actor could be because they wanted a kid who seemed and sounded mature for their age. It makes sense for Khem, as someone who's been suffering under this curse since he was born.

That makes sense, but the grandpa did say 'atleast' 10 years. However, the present was set in 2025 where Khem was 20, about to turn 21, and the flashbacks happened in 2010, which means it was 15 years before 2025. This way Khem should be 5 or 6 years old. If Pharan was 14 at the time, that would still give them an age gap of 8/9 years.

Oh wow okay. I wasn't expecting that big of a gap, but you don't really notice it much in the series. I only noticed it because of the flashbacks. Nonetheless, they make an amazing couple, and I loved every bit of the series.
I really like how the series included the 4 of them revisiting the temple in Ayutthaya; it almost brings the story into a full loop. The screenwriters definitely knew what they were doing when creating this masterpiece to keep it interesting for both watchers and novel readers.
If you get the chance, I would recommend reading the novel. It can feel a bit long, especially if you're not much of a reader, but it's got more details and can easily keep you hooked. I read it a while back, when the series was first announced with Net and James instead of JJ, but the fact that I still remember most of it just goes to show how much I loved it.
