Fun Drama! Easy to watch

Iura Arata and Ishihara Satomi had such great chemistry. I almost shipped them. 🥲

I always become sentimental when it comes to parent-child relationships. I don't like it when things are overdone, but I cry over every single detail, every little thing. And I love it. I love when my eyes naturally get teary. And I definitely think Forget You Not (2025) is that type of drama.

It made me laugh, broke my heart into pieces, and taught me about life. But I'm not surprised at all, because everything felt kind of relatable to me. I'm in my early 20s, but I understood everything it was trying to say. Idk, maybe life has never been kind to me?

Anyways, this was fine. This could be the best parent-child relationship drama I've ever watched in my life. I'm not even lying.

It has 8 episodes, and I finished it overnight. I cried like crazy and went to sleep at 4:49 AM. I've watched at least 4 dramas after that, but it's still in my head. I can still feel how it made me feel.

Criminally underrated. Make sure to have a box of tissues ready before watching.

I watched it in 2021. It was so hyped back then! Even though I wasn't really a social media person, I liked it very much. I rewatched it last year and felt the same way again. I've never moved on from this drama.

It was fun, but it felt pretty cringe at times! The CGI felt really bad, to be honest! 😭 The drama was released in 2020, but the CGI felt so outdated.

At first I thought it was a dark comedy about an obsessive fan/toxic fan and tried to make a social commentary. But it turned out to be more creepy. This is definitely not a social commentary but it's enjoyable. Abe Alan did a pretty good job as Alice, I must say. I somehow knew he was the culprit from the start. But the way they represented and acted it out, I was amazed, honestly. So, I give it a 7.5/10

A law J-drama that’s about juvenile law! It’s about Reiji Mikoshiba, who is called a devil because of his sense of justice. He can do anything to win a case and save his client.

Well, it would be understandable if he were just a typical lawyer, but he did something horrible when he was a teenager. He murdered a 5-year-old child. But he was only 14 years old at the time, so he didn’t receive the proper punishment that a criminal deserved. This made people even more angry at him.

Can a person change? Can they be forgiven even if they did something horrible in the past? I think this is the main topic of this drama. It makes you question, deep in your heart, what justice really is.

A crime can take multiple lives without physically murdering anyone; it can destroy people mentally. If a crime happens, not only the victim’s family suffers, but the criminal’s family can suffer too.

This drama is related to the people who were affected by Reiji’s crime. He’s guilty, but he wasn’t the same person when he was a teenager. Of course, I would also hate him or call him a devil if I didn’t know who he is now. And it’s understandable why people blame him.

But can a criminal deserve a second chance? This is what made me question what’s more important: the punishment a criminal deserves, or giving them a second chance when they’re capable of changing themselves?

It’s realistic in its own way. Kaname did a perfect job portraying the character. I don’t understand why he didn’t get more lead roles after this. This drama is short but meaningful. It’s good if you understand what it’s trying to say.

When I first saw Becky, I wondered why her eyes weren’t black or brown. Then I found out she’s English-Japanese, and that’s when it made sense why she doesn’t look fully Japanese. She has such glowing skin!

Had lots of fun while watching it. Some of the parts don't make any sense, but since it's a shoujo manga adaptation, it's understandable haha. The character Shoko was really funny. I love her more than anyone else in this drama.

Ep 3 and 5 are the same. That's like a repeated episode. I wonder if they posted it by mistake lol. Cause after watching Ep 3, I was like, "What? The ML kissed the FL, and they're not talking about it in Ep 4?" I was shocked. Then I saw the repeated episode again.

For the first time, I find Seto Koji handsome! 😛

Shu proposed Tsukimi! Tsukimi accepted. What's going to happen next? I hope they don't ruin the drama.

Final Opinion about Ikebukuro West Gate Park (2000)

Even though some parts (especially the cheating) really made me feel embarrassed, overall, it was fun, and some of the jokes were actually good. As expected from Tomoya Nagase. He never fails to serve!

Perfect example of how wrongdoing and scandals can finish your career in Korea (in the whole world, I guess). He could have been a well-known and great actor if none of these had happened. If I say it as an example, then this drama isn't a unique drama or doesn't have unique storytelling. Just a low-production drama. But here, his acting was eye-catching. The drama wasn't very good but watchable. He did a pretty good job. But I don't think he can make a comeback again. If any capable director or writer chooses him again and gives him a chance, then I think he could show his acting skills at least. Such a waste of a pretty face and talent.

He's still singing, as far as I know. We don't know what's right or what's wrong, but I hope he's doing well at least.
