This comment section is a riot that being said, I feel Tee is decent, its not bad enough to bring you out of the drama. He needs to take some classes and hone his craft a bit, but he has potential. I think as he is acting against Dew its more clearly visible and also compared to Dew his character is not explored much till now, for now he is good cop who wanna catch murderer. For me major problems in dialogue, I mean the detective deductions are baseline. Two murders happened I understand the manga approach to catch the killer by next one, But we didn’t see ajy efforts to find clues in previous ones. First 2 victims when and where they got kidnapped, that exploration is never done. This is gmmtv problem with thrillers, like you need more eps and due to 10-12 eps restrictions lot gets not covered. Lets see how this goes, but its still better than some other dramas that we had this year

So what? I am saying, just because the character said it once doesn’t mean he is full on misogynistic. It was a common view point for someone as its a very risky job and also you have to accompany that person day and night, Thats why it was mentioned. It was never to question to capabilities and why even expect all characters to be perfect. Watch drama as a drama unless its borderline problematic

Yes I understand, I read like in manga also its the same mostly and Jay character doesn’t appear like very often. I feel if the manga is like that they could have took a more serious turn. Like even after knowing sun is the trainee, sunny is doing nothing extreme neither sun trying anything to sabotage sunny that much. I feel story is still like needed more setup and space in much clearer way

This drama is like scarlet heart but make the fl more strong and powerful, it seems morw typical of others I have watched. But i will still see how this goes. But they really did MZY dirty idk if its the blossom effect she looked so magificent and her costumes were so tailor made for her. Here the costume and makeup is so average production, you can even see the layer of makeup that they have. But storywise not my cup of tea, I mean everyone just wanting to marry her sort of plot is just to me is exhausting, it would have been better if they arrange the marriage and then she plots everything. Instead of princes liking her, make the complete opposite make them all equal and tough opponents and how our leads navigate through each of them making them ally or getting rid of them. But as its based on novel it is what it is. Lets see how it goes

Dew is gem of an actor istg, He is just so natural and knows what he is doing. Yes with Tee agreed, I feel the punch was missing, with the inspector role. But I hope in later eps it will be great. Hehe with gmmtv police drama I always watch it with pinch of salt, their investigations aren’t groundbreaking or the way they capture that. Lets see how this goes

Can anyone who read the novel say, if there is a lot of plot left? or can be covered in 3 eps

I feel if any BL's drama have a lot to pack in and they won't wanna risk in a huge number of eps, once s1 airs within 1-2 months they should be ready for shooting s2. Else trust me it would be a longggg wait, and so much happens in btw and we aren't even sure whether we will get a s2. Atleast with sammy's they announced and with peach and me airing. I have some trust that if this doesn't end in s1 we might get a s2 sooner. But it's all prayers, but if they rush everything in 3 eps then that's a different topic and mess to be witnessed

I am scared too, I feel this won't end with season1, there is so much and so many characters arc to unpack

I think there would be season 2 and they are just setting up the characters now. I feel Sun would be more passive now setting up the scene for the main plot. The romance isn't even main here, it's more about all of these characters growing and forging their paths. Sun will go more crazy on revenge I feel

I think it was more on Tanrak internal struggle as a character, maybe we all were in same line of having problems from outside. But it was Tanrak internal conflicts ofchoosing the path. I think this drama dealt in that path rather than how religion is even now an inact problem for queer people. Yes it was not this easy to be accepted in 90s but I feel this drama had other direction. It was more about loving yourself vs god, like he fell in love and he realized thats against path he has ever dreamt of. Like as someone mentioned above it would have been same if it was lets say fl was there as Barth, but yeah its a story focused on what is love? and how that
is in centre of everything
