First: this seems to be a bad take and summary. You criticize the fact that some shows were not renewed while also…
I am watching Kdramas since 2017 or something, but came to MDL late. I did watch the greatest hits and also the old ones too. As you mentioned the popular actors are old now meaning they have becoming more picky and choosy. They are already renowned and popular so they don't have to do a lot of dramas per year. But yeah their dramas are coming this and next year, I am excited to see how the drama unfolds

For me, romance K-Dramas have become so repetitive and boring that I can barely watch them anymore... I'm on the…
Yessss we I know romance is a limited genre where you can't do much. Instead they cam explore different genres as you said crime or even something like slice of life, comedy or even a survival thriller. The scope is wide. We just need more different and experimental kdramas now and then

I completely agree with this. As for Netflix, I have to ask whether either Extraordinary Attorney Woo and Alchemy…
I too agree with you. Netflix did bring out good K-Dramas at the same time, they still pull out season 2 strategy, we all know how many shows got an unnecessary seasons and how many good one were cancelled in netflix before. I just said I hope they don't do the same with Kdramas

Honestly, I think it is a natural development. I started watching Kdrama in 2005, I started to fall out of love…
Yes as I mentioned in the article too when you have watched a lot of dramas, you feel less and less surprised as you mentioned the structure feels same. I am too now a days check out the drama either when my favorite actor is there or when the plot stands out to me

I think its ok for now. But maybe in 4-5yrs above mentioned points maybe a bigger issue. But i think one other…
Yess, we need more original script dramas as I mentioned. This allows us to get newer stories and also spoiler free next episodes. There is always a huge dispute whenever dramas gets adapted from webtoon, on who did better and also things they changed that something disrupts the viewing experience

Thanks a lot πŸ’œπŸ’œ. I am happy about streaming platforms wanting to invest, just I hope they take time to work on scripts and not try to make a season 2 for everything.

Yep, I mean I am craving for a drama like Beyond evil in now a days K-dramas, but I wonder why there is huge scarcity of thrillers/crime dramas

Epilogues have become almost endangered. I was happy to see them in Queen of tears
