Jaeyi's fake suicide to denounce her father was of no use? We don't even know how much time he served in prison, and we don't even know if his medical license was taken away. Basically his father is doing extremely well. 😃
The kdrama took a completely different direction after the first 8 episodes, with the GL mood immediately dropping and the thriller/mystery aspect going on too long.
Voila, Friendly Rivalry is over. Just beautiful, I loved it. Unfortunately we won't be getting any real kisses. Like many, I'll certainly miss this kdrama and I really doubt that a season 2 will see the light of day. Of course, I didn't really understand this last episode and what these so-called “Devil's Questions” were all about, and why Seulgi swallowed the questions and then had the operation to get the questions back? I really don't get it. Why didn't he give them the questions directly? Then I laughed so hard at Jaeyi's father watching them through the window in the middle of the rain, like a lunatic. From beginning to end, really creepy. For me, it seems more like an ending that's neither happy nor sad. Everyone got the ending they wanted, and the last scene where Jaeyi sends a card to Seulgi is practically where she lived when she was younger, so we think Seulgi knows where Jaeyi is now.
Episode 2 finished, I've never laughed so much in a kdrama, I really love it. I couldn't stop laughing at the scene when the soldiers pass by with the words “It's hard for us, but it's even harder for you” 😭😭😭😭
This kdrama has two possible endings, honestly. Either we end on a big cliffhanger that could potentially conclude with a season 2 Or, no season 2 but we end on something open-ended that's not a happy ending. Honestly, I don't know whether I think we'll get a time jump or not, but I honestly don't think so.
