What annoys me about all this Hong Mingi hype is that sooner or later he's going to get his own drama, and honestly, it probably won't even take that long before we see him leading a romance series. It's frustrating, and to me it once again proves that in Asian dramas—whether we're talking about China or Korea—looks come first. Because, sorry, but for now, Hong Mingi is simply not a very good actor. At this stage, he deserves supporting roles rather than leading ones. Mark my words, though: he'll get his romance drama. He's a rising actor and has already gained a huge fanbase.
The people who call LJW ugly are often girls around 15–20 years old, or even older, who don't like very masculine-looking men and prefer softer facial features. He's definitely not the only one who gets criticized for this. There have been many others, like Heo Nam-jun. They dislike sharp, angular features—basically anything that makes a man look more traditionally masculine.
The Hong Min Gi fanbase is so tiring i'll make sure to avoid his future dramas
I 100% agree with you, they’re unbearable. Hong Min-gi gained a huge wave of fans after Study Group, and of course 99% of them are girls who only talk about his looks. I almost never see any comments about his acting, because, just like Cha Eun-woo, his acting is pretty weak, so people focus on his appearance instead.
I just finished this K-drama, and what can I say? I absolutely loved it! It was an incredible experience from beginning to end. A huge thank you to the entire team for bringing this story to life. Goodbye, Teach You a Lesson ❤️ My rating: 9/10.
Jin Ki Joo is so adorable in her school uniform. I'm clutching my cheeks and stomping my feet — she's way too cute. The little queen that she is!!! I've been on her team for a long time. 🫰🏻
Episode 8: Kim Mu Yeol is simply outstanding in this episode—actually, throughout the entire drama. I wasn't very familiar with the actor before, but he's absolutely phenomenal.
I'm currently on episode 8. I'll finish the rest later, but so far I loved the beginning, although it starts to decline a little afterward. For me, episode 5 was the worst.
I thought that was him! D: but then was like no cant be, how long ago was this filmed?? sad!
It's definitely him, and it's his final role. It was filmed from February 2025 to August 2025. Pretty crazy, when you think about it—Jin Ki-joo finished Undercover High School in February and went straight into filming this right afterward.
Ah, but this was filmed a year ago. That's why the late actor Song Young-gyu is in it. This is indeed his final performance before his passing. May he rest in peace.
Honestly, I just can’t get into this one. I’ll keep watching because Duduling is absolutely gorgeous, but I keep wondering when we’ll get a drama with the same level of quality as POJ again. Even The First Jasmine probably won’t reach that standard, but it’s already a drama I’m looking forward to much more than this one. It simply speaks to me on a deeper level.
According to my sources, several actors are expected to be part of the drama's cast.
Two of them have been confirmed 100%:
“Lee Ji Hae", known for playing numerous supporting and guest roles. She will portray “Seo Jun Mo", a cold and ruthless character. “So Yi Han", an actor who is still relatively unknown to the general public. He will play “Hyeon Woo", a student drawn to violence.
In addition, “Lee Seung Gyu" is expected to portray “Ryu Jun-hyung", although this has not yet been officially confirmed.
The cast is also expected to include “Kim Tae Hwan", best known for his role in “The Bride of Habaek", as well as “Lee Sang Hee", an actress recognized for her appearances in numerous dramas and for the versatility of her performances.
However, I am not 100% certain about the participation of “Kim Tae Young", who is notably known for his role in “In Your Radiant Seasons". His involvement in the drama therefore remains unconfirmed.
