Finally, a good romance drama — that’s such a nice change. We’d been stuck with so many average or disappointing dramas since “We Are All Trying Here” anyway. I love Yang Se Jong; I find him so funny in every role, and he’s an incredible actor.

In 2026, how many interesting/good romance dramas have we actually had so far? I can only think of maybe 3 or 4. *In Your Radiant Seasons*, *We Are All Trying Here* (not really a romance, but I’ll count it), *My Royal Nemesis*, and for now *Spooky Love*. That’s only 5… 😀

I’m really struggling to enjoy this. I absolutely love the cast, but damn, it’s just not interesting. The best moments are the ones with the secondary couple. I even find myself skipping the ML/FL scenes sometimes because they’re so boring. There’s a real problem with romance in K-dramas lately. The only one I genuinely love is “Spooky in Love”; everything else has been either average or bad.
There was a comment saying, **"Yu Geon and Ha Na will be the actors in Su Bin and I Jae's movie."** Well... that's actually what's going to happen, judging by the previews for the upcoming episodes.

Damn, Jung Hae-kyun, who plays the ML's father, is literally playing the exact same role from A to Z in In Your Radiant Season too. An abusive father to his son. It's crazy—I wonder what he thinks about always being cast in the same kind of role.

Oh right, that's true—they're both in *Sold Out*. I swear, though, in this drama she really resembles Chae Won Bin, especially because they have the exact same face shape.
Thank God it's over tomorrow, because holy hell, this has been so damn annoying. And that random "Senegal" storyline? What the hell was even the point? It added absolutely nothing to the secondary couple's story. I gave it a 6, but honestly, it doesn't deserve more than a 5 at best.

I 100% agree with you. You literally said exactly what I’ve been thinking from A to Z. In Yeop has never been a great actor, and honestly, he never has been from the beginning. He became popular because of his looks and his chemistry/duo with Eunwoo in *True Beauty*. Otherwise, he has always had the same facial expressions and the same limited range. I’ve watched him in several dramas, and he always uses the exact same acting style when playing sad scenes.
For me, Hyeri is better in every way and a much better actress. But yes, I understand what you mean because, in this drama and in *Friendly Rivalry*, she’s completely different, and Hyeri is genuinely convincing, unlike the male lead.
That being said, I don’t think the problem necessarily comes from the actors. The drama itself is bad. The story isn’t interesting, there’s no humor to keep things moving, and the whole plot is so overdone and repetitive. The whole “childhood connection and reuniting as adults” trope is used like 100 times a year in K-dramas, and honestly, it gets so damn annoying after a while.
