This is the first time since I started watching K-dramas that I look forward to Wednesdays and Thursdays more than the weekend. 😭 Between The Manipulated / Dynamite Kiss / Spirit Fingers on Wednesdays and Dear X on Thursdays, it’s literally perfect.
This is the first time that a drama released two years after filming has been this good. Usually, we're stuck with mediocre dramas, and I even had my own theory about it, but honestly, this drama has completely won me over. It's a solid 9 for now.
You need to take five minutes and ask yourself: who is responsible for this makeup? Why does it look like the ML and FL are wearing a white mask on their faces? When you look at their necks, it’s very distracting and bothersome.
What an episode, I loved it. Quite moving overall. I love seeing Beom and Mi Seon's grandmother on screen, they're so cute that I can't help but smile when I see them. The scene with Mi Ho and Nam Moo's mother was quite sad. Poor Mi Ho, who is nice to everyone and tries to get by helping her family at such a young age, and then Nam Moo's mother talks to her like that. I really hope our couple doesn't break up, I clearly love them. We only have four episodes left now, and I don't want it to end.
Well, it's finally over, and what can I say about the drama? Overall, it's pretty average. It doesn't break any new ground. I liked the secondary couple more than the main one, because I don't think Choi Wooshik is cut out for romantic dramas. There are also quite a few scenes that could have been left out. Would I watch this drama again? Definitely not. I give it a rating of 6.5/10.
Hong Suzu's face is disturbing because it's the first time I've seen an actress with facial features that make her look harsh, and it's because of her thick, dark eyebrows.
I never expected a happy ending. You don't need to have read anything to see clearly that this is a drama that cannot end happily. At best, it could end with an open ending that is neither happy nor sad, but this drama will never end happily given the universe it portrays. I didn't wait for the webtoon to know that.
The tracklist for the drama's OST is as follows: - Devil's Angel - Minnie (i-dle) - Eyes on Me - Olivia Marsh - Goodbye To the Pain - Sam Ock - Ego - Cocona - Run Run - Lim Kim - Insane - Elaine
