A Dream for Two, But Not Without Its Flaws

“Dream to You" is a drama that I overall enjoyed, even though it has a few flaws that keep it from being a true favorite. The biggest strength for me is definitely the chemistry between Lee Hyeri and Hwang In Yeop. Their chemistry feels natural, and their interactions are genuinely enjoyable to watch. I really liked their dynamic and the way their relationship develops, although I sometimes wished certain moments had been explored in more depth. Their acting works very well together, and they easily manage to convey the emotions of their characters.

The second couple was also a very pleasant surprise. Their chemistry is beautiful, and I really enjoyed following their story. They bring something different to the drama, and some of their scenes are definitely among my favorites. I even wished we could have seen more of them, as their relationship had so much potential.

Visually, the drama is really well done. The direction is beautiful, and the colors and settings create a soft, romantic atmosphere that makes the whole drama very pleasant to watch. The OSTs are also a major highlight. They fit the drama’s atmosphere perfectly and make certain scenes even more emotional.

However, the storyline is what disappointed me the most. There are a few slow moments, some conflicts are quite predictable, and several situations could have easily been avoided with a simple conversation. Some characters and storylines also deserved better development. At times, I felt like the drama had some really good ideas but didn’t fully make use of them.

Despite that, “Dream to You" remains an enjoyable romance, carried by a great cast, two lovable couples, beautiful OSTs, and stunning visuals. It’s not perfect, but I had a good time watching it, and I think it’s worth checking out if you enjoy Korean romances.
