Three Stars

I hate the fact that they want the audience to be sympathetic to Mogi and I get that his character was likely low IQ or even possibly on the spectrum but he knew right from wrong and to raise the brothers after that just makes me so angry. I also hate that Detective Koike kept telling Mokato to stop looking b/c the statute was up. Who the fuck cares? They still have a right to know who killed their parents and why.

What I hate is the things left unsaid. Mogi and the borthers. That being said, the ending of this ep was an emotional gut punch even though I knew that was going to be the outcome.

This was a good ep. Probably the best of the series for me. Minoru saying he can't stand that therapist was great. She manipulated too many people. Japan's statute of limitations on murder was insaned. Glad they revoked it but not sure why they didn't just revoke it for all murders. It's really nonsensical.

Makoto is not lazy. He does enough work to get the job done. Is that lazy or efficient??? I think he's a good detective.I can't believe Makoto got caught up. That therapist is a psycho. Hypnotizing people.

The ending of this case threw me for a loop too in that the kid didn't actually pass the exam. But it's true even college is only for the wealthy if you don't want massive student loans you have to pay back. Even with grants and scholarships people have to take out loans.

Horrible parents are the worst. I teared up at the end of this ep when they said the girl that died in the fire had planned to make a shop for the 4 friends. Shiori is right about having bad parents though. No matter your childhood, ultimatley you have to decide the right course for the outcome of the rest of your life.

I was heartbroken for Minoru at the end....Was that their mother at the end?? Or was that Mogi's wife who answered Tsuda's to phone number? Makoto's partner kinda annoys me but then she doesn't; I'm trying to figure out why.

I hate that they have to keep relationship secret but I get it. Too many gossips and crazy people at work. I hated that she did not tell him her ex was singing in the wedding band now. I do like that she acknowledges that she is jeolous of his relationship with Ms. Choi for no reason.I hate that scandalous executive and that the guy with the kids may betray him but I'm hoping he will ac tually be the counter. I really hate office politics and peopel trying to sabatoge a co-workers efforts.

Much better second ep and we see Isoo starting to think and analyze the facts and evidence for himself. I was like there's no way Mr. Choi is dying...The end credit scene was very interesting.

SPOILERS****SPOILERS****SPOILERS****

It was a decent episode. I think the transistion to the new FL was done well and not that big of a deal. What bothered me the most is that they had Isoo kinding going back to his old ways. He is also supposed to be someone who can see things other people can't so him being so nonchalant about the 1st bomb seemed uncharacteristic to me. Hopefully, the episodes get better b/c the 1st season was my favorite show of 2024.

Her pushing him away and her telling him he was puhing her away was rich... The beggining felt a little too tropey for me and I just want adults to act like adults. I did like the ending though!

Episode was going well until the end. Also, didn't like that No Ah still wants her ex to be the bad guy. Does it suck when your ex moves on faster than you? Yes but the games I cannot tolerate.

I liked this ep. I'm glad she told Ga Eul not to fit into the life she wants b/c he IMO would only come to resent her anyway. It was a good place for them both to move forward seperately. I loved to that she did the presentation. I was really going to be pissed if they had made her miss that opportunity after all that buildup. This is what I'm so digging about this series is that they have the tropes but they are not leaning into them.

No-Ah is so annoying this ep. She wants to hang on when her boyfriend is telling her he has feelings for someone else and then makes a scene. I'm actually glad he was up front and honest with her and walked out. She was doing the absolute most!Ga Eul is so selfish. Of couse Ji Yun will have those feelings still and it's heartbreaking but you can never walk it back othwerwise you end up in the same situation. The writer(s) really did something great here. I was very surprised by that ending.

Ji Yun was getting on my nerves b/c her direct boss is awful but I could also totally relate in terms of just working and leaving and getting my own job done. I absolutely loved when she was straight forward with Ga Eul and didnt waiver. Probably the best ending of a relationship I have seen in a kdrama. "It was enough time for me to get over you!" And yes I know it isn't the last we'll see of the ex but I really enjoyed that scene.
