This movie was all over the place and the simple plot about a town being overtaken by bandits who don't want to follow the Emperors rules started to not make any sense. Angela Mao was wasted here. I did like Barry Chan though. Really good in this.

The ending fight scene was ok but overall the fight scenes were not that great. Also, I have no clue what the writers were thinking with the final scenes. The ML does the dumbest thing I think I've ever seen in a movie. I was like WTF am I watching. I can't say what it is b/c it would completely spoil the movie.

Good Legal Thriller/Drama

This drama was better that I thought it would be. I thought the entire cast was really good. I haven't seen the ML or FL in anything but this but they both played their roles well.

The greatest performance for me, however, was Kim Sang Ho who is one of my favorite character actors. He play Chisik to heart achingly, tragic perfection. This man deserves all the awards for best supporting actor. The last episode of the series is one of the best episodes of TV I have watched this year and his performance is why.

The series is about evil men doing evil deeds and not being hed accountable but someone decides they need to be. It's also a commentary on how the Court/legal system is unjust due to the influence of the wealthy defendants.

I really like the opening theme song and the the Silver linings song in the OST.

I really enjoyed this buddy cop movie!

Technically, PSJ and KHN aren't cops yet just police university students who happen upon a kidnap/egg donor/organ removing scheme. Even with the seriousness of the stroryline. This movie is laugh out loud funny! The scene where they are poking one of the villians with the skewer had me on the floor!!

There were some really dumb moments of course by the police and that pissed me off entirely. They went to look for a moguls son instead of kidnapped women and then the scene at the police station was completely ridiculous nearly runined the movie for me.

PSJ and KHN should be in more comedies together. They were both so good here.

I loved Park Ha Sun as Joo Hee she had a limited part but she was fantastic!

This is the movie that made me fall in love with Shu Qi. I have seen this movie multiples times and have loved it ever sense my first time.

The first action sequence is superb. Shu Qi hanging from a ceiling while killing the bad guys was awesome the first time I saw it and now. Really great fight choreography and action scenes. Loved the car chase thru the city and the shoot out in the car garage. It's a really good story too. The CGI doesnt hold up but eveything else is still great!

I loved this bad ass female cast too. Karen Mok and Zhao Wei round it out very nicely. I always recommend this movie to people who love actions movies and who have never seen Shu Qi.

Won Bin is Fantastic - Excellent Fight Scenes

OMG this was so good. The best Korean action flick I've watched this year. Excellent story and phenomenal cast. This is the first thing I watched with Won Bin and I am super impressed now I have to watch everthing else.

I was surprised to see Kim Sung Oh as that nasty, label loving, hot head. I have never seen him as the villain and he was really good. Kradum Thanayong Wongtrakul was excellent as the enforcer for the bad guys. He has an intensity in his face that was menacing yet somehow kind. He was a presence on screen. Kim Sae Ron was great as the young lead.

I give this a 10 overall and you can rewatch multiple times. My only gripe is that I wished the main villian's last scene had been more brutal.

Action packed, high octane movie with bad ass FL.

Really loved the FL in this, especially in the action scenes. Overall I enjoyed the story and it was good but toward the end it faltered a bit and became too melodramatic. Because the film was inspired by Le Femme Nikita the action sequences were excellent and high velocity and I loved them. This is the first FL action movie I have watched from Korea and it was not a disappointmemt. I put actress Kim Ok Bin up there with Angelina Jolie as my 100% believeable female action star. My only gripe with the movie is the very last scene b/c forget the fact that he killed her father he...**** SPOLIER ALERT**** I won't say but when you watch you will understand. Like why the hell was she hesitating???

Laugh out Loud funny

This is one of the best comedies I've watched in a long time. So many scenes LOL funny. Body swap movies are hit or miss and this one knocked it out of the park with an excellent cast to boot.

A lot of the older supporting cast I have seen in other things and they were all good especially Lee Joon Hyuk as Man Chul (Pan Soo's right-hand man). Ra Mi Ran as Mi Sun was fantastic. I haven't really seen the younger cast in much but the standout however was Jung Jin Young as Dong Hyun. He was so good as the gangster in the teenagers body. I mean he just nailed the role.

I loved the scene where he slaps the bully and the bully was outdone that he was being slapped. I loved the scene where Pan Soo/Dong Hyu was trying to get back into his own body at the beginning. I loved the scene at the rich kids house and Dong Hyu was beating everyone up and I loved the last big fight scene at Mi Sun's bar it was really good action sequence. I also love that Dong Hyu was even taking real hits.

Overall I gave this a 9 but a very close 10. The reason it's not a 10 is b/c the ending was just ok. But I would def watch again and highly recommend.

I'm giving this movie a 7/10 because I really liked the story and the actors in this movie. The reason it's not getting an 8 is because the ending was just crazy or maybe the version I saw cut a scene or something. The way the villian meets his end made no sense.

Both male leads had good chemistry and I enjoyed the main villian. The last fight choreography was good too even if they slowed it down a bit. I didn't mind that though because you get to see the attacks and counter attacks cleanly. Theres another scene I really loved where the villian is practiiong his moves and the black and red contrast were excellent.

I thoroughly enjoyed the middle section of the movie when the hero is being trained in the invincible armour technique by a younger character. The young actor was really good too and I like his facial expressions. You don't really see that in these films and I like how those scenes played out.

This is a Shaw Brothers production so the choreography was on point. I really loved the beginning fight scene with the rope action... VERY WELL DONE!

The Special FX are terrible even for 1984. I was going to give that a pass but I can't. I mean, the fake blood, the strobe lights...NO!

I really enjoyed the first 40 minutes of this thing but after that the story just didn't really hold my interests and I thought the secondary plot was dumb. I mean, a guy did sell his soul to the devil so what was I expecting? I don't know but I think b/c most of the good action and story happened prior I was just a little disappointed.

Also, inquiring minds want to know what the wardrobe/costumes department was thinking by putting the male lead in that damn clown costume. Just a weird choice. I did like the demon costumes though. There were some really funny scenes but overall very below average martial arts flick.

This is a story of a young girl out for reveneg for the deaths of her family due to ruthless gangsters.

The martial arts in this film were not so great, but I did really like the Lily Li the female lead. I loved the white outfit she rocked. I also liked that it was more realistic with the fights back in the day. When she got hit she would get bruised and injured. In todays movies she would be super human. I also liked the different fighting styles. One Foot Crane, Mantis Fist and Shaking Eagle.

I enjoyed overall. I however, did not like that one of the minor characaters dies at the end for no good reason and that pissed me

This is an average late 70's martial arts flick staring, Chen Kuan Tai. I have seen many and enjoy most of them. I am a fan of a revenge plot. Happens a lot in these types of films.

My only gripe is that Iron Monkey killed a lot of innocent people that had nothing with his family's murders. I mean ultimately he killed the trouble makers and the big boss fight was entertaining.

What I really needed more of was a little more umph and better choreography of the fight scenes too!

Almost Everything I Needed in a Kdrama Romance

This was my favorite FL in a very long time. Yoo In Na was so damn good. The girl is a comedy genius IMO. She had me in tears the first 2 epsiodes. I usually hate the female lead and as annoying as she was in the beginning she really grew on me and I just loved her so much. Her character growth was great to see. I loved the ML as well but it is LDW.

The supporting cast, especially at the law firm were so good. Mr. Yeon, the CEO at the lawfirm, was hysterical and I loved every scene he was in. Oh Jung Se has so much talent he went from this to playing Sang Tae in IOTNBO. OML great actor!!

I loved the chracater of Se-Won too. He was an attorney at the prosecutor's office and ML bestfriend. Another super positive of the drama is that the villain storyline was over and done with in the blink of an eye.

Episode 15 bar none is one of the funniest episodes in a Kdrama I have ever watched. I was on the floor with mutiple scenes.

The OST is good.

The reason the show is not getting a 10 from me is that one couple didn't get a happy ending and honestly it pissed me off b/c every other couple got a happy ending and in my perfect romance fantasy everyone gets a happy ending!!

I wanted to Love this...

It started out so well but in the end it was just another meh series for me.

Things I loved: Park Bo-Gum. This was my first series with him and I will watch everything else now.

Things I Liked: I really liked the theme song. Beautifully done and nostalgic!

Things I hated with a passion: Tae-Su, disgusting human being. Do Ha, what an infantile person. Kim Su Man, Damn Reporter!!!

Other things I hated: Yi Young terrible mother and way too involved in her children's lives. I hate too that Hae Hyo never tells his mother how she made him feel. Young Nam terrible father even with the back story. Hae Na and Jin-ju not fighting for their relationship. Tsk.

Annoying: Jung Ha and Hye Jun's relationship. I just felt like Jung Ha in the beginning was a strong character then she was flighty, especially when it came to their relationship. She wasn't even willing to fight for it and yes I get her backstory to and wanting her new career plans to take off but...Girl Bye!

The last few eps were a downer for me but the ending wasn't as bad as thought it was going to be. Overall the series ended up just being meh when it started out so well.

Season 2 Still Good

In Asada We Trust!! That's my motto!

I really do like this series even though its formulaic and bordering on ridiculousness on some level.

I have to say my biggest gripe with the series is the constant , unnecessary, extra added bad to worse situations for the patient that is being operated on!!! They are already going thru so much so why does each operation have to come down to the wire and I guess that makes for good TV but not really IMO. It gets annoying when it's done almost every epsiode.

That being said, the cast is really strong and again, Sakaguchi Kenji is the main reason the show is enjoyable. More epsiodes that had me at the edge of my seat and I cried my eyes out episode 10. The Ijuin character annnoyed me again this season but I got past that. Dr. Noguchi still a world class d**k but his comeuppance was just as good this season as it was last season. On to the next!
