Ep 17-18 gave us some really cute and romantic scenes outside of the palace. I’m enjoying their sweet domesticated lives. That being said, I read some of the reviews below and a few pointed out how it seems like 2 series in one with one side being the ruthless court politics and the other a fluffy rom-com. I agree that they’re making the series lighter than what the trailer showed us. We expected a lot of schemings, heartbreaks and betrayals. However, we’ve been fed more cute and sweet scenes. Am I disappointed? Not necessarily. I love that it’s focused on the main leads and giving us plenty of swoon worthy moments. I would have love to see more in depth court rivals and schemes, but I feel as though that’s all coming up soon when they’re both forced to return to the palace. The honeymoon will be over and we’ll most likely see more heartaches. Therefore, I’m enjoying the ride until that time comes.
One thing though, even though I think Dylan is so cute for being so whipped for her highness, I would like for him to be more serious and for us to see him avenge more of their enemies than to just be her protector. I feel like the message of him avenging his brother has been a bit lost in the romance. Not complaining since I love the romance, but just noticing what some of us have noticed.
All that being said, I am devastated we have to wait 5 more days for new episodes! 😩

Absolutely! I love this type of male leads. Nontoxic, non controlling and not possessive. He lets her take the lead and is always respectful of her boundaries. Smoking out those mosquitoes never looked so hot until he did it. I wanted to jump in bed between them 🥵
I’m just imagining them living in that cute house, having candlelight dinners by the river with the new member…
The dog!!! Omg I squealed seeing how domesticated they are already. I know their little love hut will hit some turmoil (as expected in all dramas) but my hope is that they return to it and live out the rest of their lives. Let’s all pray for a happy ending.

What?!! Friend! You have to watch Love Between Fairy and Devil. TRUST. He’s basically almost the same character. The fl in that one is a bit annoying but get through the first 10 episodes and she gets a lot better.

I think she’s his brother’s lover/foe. She mentioned that she had a relationship when they were young or when the brother had a low ranking. I hope she notices that they’re not the same person. However, the empress will most likely use her to manipulate him. I’m really loving the storyline and drama so far- bring it! Our couple will not break!
