He didn’t have the desire with the FL until AFTER he turned into a human and lost his powers. Therefore, this explained why he didn’t have any human emotions or desires as a demon.

Being impotent means you struggle with sex- can’t get an erection. It’s a physical and psychological condition. In his case, he’s been living as a demon with no desires aside from taking souls.
