I had the same thought from episode 1. I almost dropped it because I saw the 3 Bs: botox, bad acting and bad budget.…
Haha I don’t consider those who play obvious bad guys as evil characters but more of just in your face bad guys if that makes sense? Yea, complex evil characters must acquire very deep psychological understanding of the characters to convey in depth how truly insane they are.
I agree that the sister is not as evil as the stepmother but i feel as though her greed will lead her down that same road.

Yes, we should definitely differentiate between the actors and characters.
I feel that it’s more difficult to play evil characters vs good ones because you have to show more range of emotions to truly be a great villain and you have to tolerate people hating your guts when they associate your face with that particular character.

The sister is typecast for sure to play the evil characters in most of her supporting roles. I don’t like it when she’s clenching her teeth, quivering her lips and flaring her nostrils when acting mad. Like girl, we get it. Just do one of those expressions, but not all 3!
Nonetheless, she’s doing her job because we all loathe her.
After so much botox, fillersand mediocre plastic surgery in ep. 1, I'm surprised that I'm enjoying this drama…
I had the same thought from episode 1. I almost dropped it because I saw the 3 Bs: botox, bad acting and bad budget. It was giving day time soap but thankfully the compelling storyline overshadowed all of that. The awful stepmother and sister should really chill on the facial expressions. They about to pop a vein or shit blood.
I agree with you and would add that it's great to see a "grown-up" story where people in their late 20s/30s don't…
Yes! Hallelujah to the adults being actual adults instead of having virgin panics. Sick of series with hot grown ass people with zero dating experience whatsoever.
I don't agree about Wal - I don't really see what he's done wrong other than being overprotective, which is not…
I don’t see Walh as being overprotective but possessive. He didn’t care about Guy before he noticed Tew’s presence. If he was such a good “friend” to Guy, he would give him real advice but allow Guy the right to choose what he wants to do. He stalked Guy, acted like a jealous boyfriend, but would drop Guy the second his gf came calling. He then strung Guy along by inviting himself to sleep over and almost kissed him only to panic and back away. If he’s so confused about his own feelings, he should be more respectful with his gf and Guy in order to figure out what he wants instead of playing with both of them. That makes for a shitty boyfriend and friend.
Now THAT is how you open an episode!!! There is absolutely no justifiable reason why the next 4 episodes should…
Guy is in this desperate panic state right now where his long term crush is starting to show some interest and the sexy oppa who is way out of his league confessed. It’s not just gay panic but Big D panic. Idk about you, but that scene between Kenji and G Oppa got me hot. I just want G Oppa to pull off Kenji’s wig and then play with each other’s guns
The bathtub threesome was hot, but I wanted so desperately for one of the guys to dunk Kenji into the water and get rid of those crimping in his weave. It had soap and everything to give him that shine. So disappointed.
The biggest villain here isn’t billionaire papa with them mismatched ash blonde hair and dark eyebrows, or Kenji with that permed hair, or Muffin with her cosplay, but Walh for being a punk ass bitch. He bitch slapped G Oppa and almost got himself knocked out. I shipped G Oppa’s fist with Wahly’s face more than any other couples.
“I’ll quit the gangsta life for you.” Now wait a damn hot minute, sir. Did we give you permission? This thug lyfe is not quitting you.
I’m glad the leads aren’t acting like virgins around each other. It would’ve been extremely annoying to be married and not even a kiss considering the sexual tension between them. He’s just irresistible with his charms.
I agree with you about the Reborn Rich ending. This drama was so good throughout, and then they give us that stupid…
I’m worried that they will not have a happy ending but I’m hopeful they won’t do that to us viewers. The series is not on a big budget but it’s the satisfying revenge that pulls us in. The leads deserve a good ending.
I love that the most powerful family is actually the most kind and empathetic (well, minus evil pimp cane) I love that the FL is so empowering. I love that the ML is incredibly supportive. I love that both leads actually communicate! Yes! They talk about their problems. I love that we get satisfying dialogues from the FL instead of just seeing her bullied and torn down.
If they pull a Reborn Rich ending, I’m slapping everyone including grandma.
This is the ongoing issue with the main leads- their “relationship” is superficial. I’m on episode 17 and I’m TIREDDDDD Y’all.
They only text but no real communication. Their flirty banter is surface level and any time there’s an opportunity for real intimacy, the phone rings and she takes of running like an idiot. It’s cute if you’re a high schooler but not for grown adults. She lives in this magical bubble inside her head and all the important conversations are inside her mind. We’re half way through and they are still not understanding each other beyond the dumb texting back and forth.
Side couples are also stagnant. Same shit different day. Guan Ji and ShanShan keep bumping into each other at the clubs/bars, stare at each other, get drunk and then leave mad. Professor Yu and the niece are still too awkward.

That being said, ML actor should be in more series.
