The maid provoked him. He let her off the hook a few times but when she deliberately tried to separate him from his family, to him, that was the point of no return.
I didn’t read the novel so in my world, CFY and the Marquis will win this battle, then head out to rescue Yian Yian and Bao Er together. Marquis and Qi Min will face each other in an epic hubby vs hubby battle to see who is more obsessive/possessive. In the end, Qi Min is defeated, loses his powers as retribution to his evil deeds and is now in need of Yian Yian’s support.
They all go back to rebuild Lin An. Officer Li also comes to help and falls in love with a new character. He often visits to bring the Marquis news of the Capital but the retired Marquis is happily raising pigs with his wife and their 5 children. Ning is busy babysitting. The Piglet Squad helps as well.
Qi Min helps Yian runs her restaurant with Bao Er. Yian is also pregnant.
I woke up at 6 AM (Southern California) time before work to watch today’s episode and I don’t regret not sleeping well at all.
