You know, sadly, I’m also wondering the same thing. How is Pat going to appeal to Jeng when he’s done absolutely nothing but get mad, pouts, cries and gives Jeng sass. Honestly, he’s not even that talented. His presentations and power points have consistently been bad. I don’t get how Jeng will fall for him but it seems like he already has.

I think it would be better if say the team messed up and Pat comes in to show them how even though he’s just an intern he’s professional and is able to handle the stress. Instead, he pouts when he doesn’t get positive feedbacks and gets mad any time Jeng tries to help. Wtf?

Maybe he’s supposed to be immature and naive but you can be that without the over the top and unnecessary expressions. I need my boys First, Khaotung, Fourth, Perth etc to hold an acting class.

I know it’s his first acting gig (or at least that’s what people said) and it shows. However, I really don’t see much potential. I think it’s a miss cast for him to play the role of Pay opposite Man as Jeng. Jeng is more natural and subtle with his expressions. I won’t even hold my breath for Ben to improve because we all know there are plenty of other Bl actors in many series and the acting is still horrendous.

Can you please tell me if the uncut has more scenes of Jeng? If not, I’m good.

Or you can wait until it wraps and then you can filter through what you like/don’t like. It’s a win-win so no one is upset.

I like it as well. I’m not watching any other office BL at the moment but this definitely has a more in depth portrayal of their work life. The premise of the whole series is to show the growth of both the subordinate & boss. They haven’t delve into their daily personal lives yet but I’m hoping to see more. I like that it’s not all over the place & in our face with the romance. The tension is there and rising.

Ben REALLY needs to tone it down with the overly done facial expressions. Every emotion is the same constipated look.

For those who complain that this is slow… that’s fine. I’d rather watch Daddy Jeng in slow motion doing nothing but stare into space than most of the BL series airing right now.

This was just phenomenal. Yes, it depicted the typical political power game for the throne, but at the core of it all is a story about the love of a mother for her children. The queen loved her sons AND all of the emperor’s children. What a remarkable series with riveting storyline, powerful acting and phenomenal characters.
