Really? To be honest, Jim and Wen did nothing for me. Their story was flat. Earth & Mix were ok but I wasn’t blown away by their performances. They were outshined by their supporting peers. I didn’t understand the hype about Perth either until I watched him carefully in his role. He was given very little material and screen time but when he appeared, he acted the shit out of them. His acting is very subtle but enough to take over the screen compared to the main actors. Phuwin should take notes.

It goes to show how pretty faces aren’t everything in BL anymore. You got First and Khaotung outshining the main characters here & Perth in NLMG.

I totally forgot about our MVP Leng. Mark deserves his own BL main role soon. We only got snippets on Tiew and Por from MSP but I melted. His character there and here is one in the same- loving, supportive and full of good questions for our couples- “are y’all a couple? What is this? Who’s dating who? Get it together, fam.”

Yes yes yes to all that you said. everything about this series is top notched- down to it being just 8 episodes. Nothing dragged and nothing sagged. You know a series is good when you can watch it as a great story and not just a BL story.

He truly does. I feel like he’s presenting himself to Jim in every scene. He’s such a shameless ho 🤣

I actually like Gaipa with Alan. I know Alan came off as a petty bitch but I came to understand him more. He loved too hard and could not get closure since Wen simply fell out of love. He needed a reason since it didn’t make sense to him. Therefore, he used Jim as the scapegoat. He could’ve handled it better but we’ve all been there. I think he’ll be a better person with Gaipa. Gaipa is the perfect example of how you should love someone- by not possessing them.

I absolutely love this series. There needs to be more BL like this one- filled with heart, milk tea boba and chicken.

Each characters have their own love language. Uncle Jim feeds you chicken, Li Ming buys you boba, Wen offers himself, Heart has access to hard liquor, Gaipa has title deeds , and Alan signs off on your loans.

All of the characters deserved the endings they received. There was no room for hate or pettiness, just a lot of love all around. I’m happy for Gaipa. Khaotung is adorable in this role. He’s my favorite character along with Li Ming. ♥️♥️♥️

Oh the horrendous acting of LiTA and the awful villain of NLMG. He took a course in How to be a Villain 101.

LITA was done by a rich arrogant playboy who played himself. NLMG was done by a grown ass adult man who was supposed to be badass. That’s why I thought it was awful.

1. Why did Neung’s abduction picture look better than most Vogue’s covers? Maybe he was born with it? Maybe it’s Maybelline?

2. How did Uncle Kit not hear Chopper if he came in with them high heels? It would’ve echoed through the entire warehouse.
