Just lovely. The rating doesn't do it justice. Some other shows just get 8+ because of the couple pairings - despite horrendous screenwriting. It's (unfortunately I might say) not much of a time invest, so see for yourself. This is simply sweet.
Ah, so nice to finally see a KBL like this. I didn't mind the pace up until end of ep 8, it worked for me, no unnecessary sideplots, enough screentime for the leads, but ep. 9 and (especially) 10 then felt so weirdly rushed?! This would've needed 2 more episodes for it to be narrated in a pace than before and therefore be (almost) perfect.
I like the ABO-Storyline, but all in all the writing is just mediocre to sometimes even cringe (and I was totally here for My Stubborn which was also a wild ride writing-wise and basically also just selling out on NCs). But obviously I will keep watching to the end, because OatBoat :D So I won't be complaining.
Am I the only one though who is absolutely not feeling those frameless glasses on Boat?
First of, really love this series. But It got me wondering. Any ideas on what's going on and why we suddenly get a K-(BL)Drama that is so steamy? Correct me if you have loads of counter evidence that I'm not aware of - but usually KDramas were way more chaste (like chaste chaste, peck on the check anytime before epidsode 8 would be considered wild)? I don't remember any such steamy or even kinda explicit scenes like in Prosecutors Proposal in any/many KDramas so far? Which is why many of us eventually took a detour and peeked into Thai-Dramaland :D
Any thoughts? Or is it just me wondering if KDrama has taken a good look at BL TDramas? Intrigued if this will be just a one-off or a trend we will be seeing. Won't be complaining if it's the latter, because this was done very tastefully.
Right, ladies and gents and everyone else in between, let's talk about that NC scene...JUST KIDDING!Don't get…
Agree. Very strong drama. Loved your BossNoeul detour. Frankly though, yes BossNoeul or (let’s not forget) BoatOat shifted the level of expectations for NCs, but the chemistry here was (even) way better - maybe because it felt less staged? I hardly comment on anything, but the last 10 minutes of episode 8 were a chokehold and - hands down - the best NC scene I personally seen in a BL. Also the closing scene, very intimate, natural and thus believable. Great acting. Let’s see what the last two episodes hold for us.
