The point of the series is that gay men can maintain a relationship with God and still maintain a healthy relationship…
No problem. Most mainstream gay-themed series/movies have sad endings, sending the message that if you're an out-of-the closet gay, you'll end up ostracized, miserable, or even dead. 90% of BLs have happy ending, in an attempt to send a positive message against that stereotype. I think it's a good thing, especially for young gay men who are going through struggles.
But there are BLs with sad endings. My Extraordinary (Philippines) is one that comes to mind. There are others I'm not thinking of at the moment.
On the flipside, there's a great American Hollywood-produced gay-themed movie, a comedy with a happy ending. It's called Big Eden and it's from 26 years ago. Super fun and I highly recommend it! Here's the link (it's about 2 hours): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bm9gTIYuCZ0
Okay, I'm rating this. Couple or Not? More like Series or Not?
This short series has been on my radar and (sort of) ongoing for over two years. TWO YEARS. The production company took so long to post episodes (like 6 months to a year apart), by the time I watched a new one I had already forgotten the actors and characters. But, for some masochistic reason, I never officially dropped it.
I know I got up to Ep. 6 (out of 8) and, just tonight, I saw a new episode. I'm not sure if it was the end or what. But it is for me.
Is there even a story? Something about a guy getting pregnant by another guy. They're not very nice to one another. Well, I did see a pretty hot makeout session in tonight's episode. Other than that, this series -- stretched out more than a Donald Trump diaper -- is a total failure. Looks like there IS an Ep. 8 on their channel, which one can only watch by paying for it.
No way. They can pay me to watch it. I'm done. 2/10 for this ridiculousness.
This was sooo good but I didn't like the happy ending it should have been sad ending we need more sad ending not…
The point of the series is that gay men can maintain a relationship with God and still maintain a healthy relationship as couples. It's a fact in today's world and it's rarely talked about. I liked it.
