So we're all supposed to be imagining Progress's legs up in the air while Almond is giving it to him? I find that really weird, and why would anybody even care?
Is it just me, or was the last episode just kind of... meh?
I liked the overall series but, for me, the finale seemed not all that interesting and ended without any real conclusion. (And no, I wasn't bothered at all by cutting of the August scenes.)
This guess is inherently harmful. It sends a message that all homophobes are closeted which is not true some are…
Interesting point. Do you think Justin is a horrible human being? I think there's a bigger chance that he's in the closet. Gay boys often act like homophobes in an attempt to hide their identities, even to themselves. I did it myself as a teen (though not to Justin's extent).
My guess is that Justin is gay and closeted. His actions -- acting like an alpha male, misogynistic, putting down gay people -- are all typical of a young gay guy lashing out because he is afraid the world will find out his secret. So he went to the extreme and it backfired.
Please don't downplay his behavior. Age is not an excuse. He has been posting that stuff since he was 12, and…
My theory is that Justin is gay and is doing everything he can to make people think otherwise and to convince himself as well that he's not. Typical behavior of "one who protests too much." It was right for his contract to be terminated. Time for him to grow up.
