Haha, true! Seriously, I doubt it has that much to do with people thinking Gun looks like a believable hardass fighter (which he doesn't), they just like him and they loved the series. So they get defensive, but that's cool. And I also like Gun, he's a terrific actor. Thanks for replying!
Huh? Most BL is not at all what you have described.
I'm a gay male, too. And I've watched a LOT of BL, so I'd like to recommend the following series to you (if you haven't seen them already): Call it what you want; Fathers; Fuccbois; HIStory2 Right or Wrong; I Told Sunset About You; Papa and Daddy; Playboy and the Gang of Cherry; Project 5 Skate Our Souls.

It's funny, I posted a short comment about not finding Gun convincing in the role of a dangerous thug, and got some condescending responses about how size has nothing to do with strength/skill. So I guess not everyone agrees with us! :)
hey people can complain about the toxicity all they want. just bc tharntype was more toxic doesnt make this show…
Thai BLs thrive on toxic behavior (at least quite often). I guess we just have to admit that toxicity does indeed exist. It's just kind of a shame that the Thai BL mentality seems to (unnecessarily) rely on it so much.
At the end of the day, I have to remember that Sean, Black (and now White), Yok, etc. ...are CRIMINALS and thugs. So I don't feel THAT warm and fuzzy toward any of them. (Well, maybe Dan.) The whole Tawi story has become uninteresting to me.
