I'm always down for historical fantasy, so I may be a little bit biased. I love that the story is based on classic Japanese legends and cosmology. It moves pretty quickly and you get a little bit of everything. Action, love, drama, and a lot of magic. I just they could have explored the bromance aspect a little more. The tender moments between Hirosama and Semei when they express their feelings to each other were very sweet.
So...not going to lie one of the most bizarre, out there plots I've seen in awhile (that have still kept me intrigued…
I enjoyed this theory and I also think endgame may be Thanu/Wayu. But you know what? A part of me just wants outright anarchy. I want Thanu/Wayu to get together, but Sandee continuing to sabotage it and keep that shadow of doubt in Wayu's mind. I want Pha to pretend to start to hit on Phai to make Wayu jealous and have Phai go along with it to make Thanu jealous, but then Phai slips and ends up catching feelings for Pha for real so gets just as obsessive about Pha as Wayu used to be (read: is) which really drives him crazy because he can't handle losing two men to someone who's supposed to be his mentor/guide. Sandee, the crafty devil that he is, would catch on to this and work to try and get Thanu expelled again somehow...maybe by prompting a physical altercation between Thanu and Pha? Sandee tries to slip in and care for Phai to finally get him, but it doesn't work, he's off the deep-end. I don't know. Maybe it's the way it ended, maybe I'm having flashbacks of TWM: The Next Chapter, but after this fluffy season, I'm down for a total shit show in season 2 idec. lmao
-I really like the opening and closing songs of this series. -For the series itself, I generally liked it. It ticked off all the boxes I wanted it to, but the way it moved away from Mark/Kit's story to everyone else's made it seem too lop-sided. -The build-up of Mark/Kit's relationship, their flirting, their conflicts, everything was just great to me. -They shouldn't have revisited Thanu and Padbook's conflict so much if we weren't ever going to make any real progress there. -All Jew, Sab, Klui, Jack, Koh, Yuki, and Kalae did was take up time and space. Seven characters' worth of extra time and space. lol The only reason I'm not completely unsatisfied with this aspect is because I find three of them to be physically attractive. -I'm not so unhappy about the Thanu/Wayu/Phai/Pha/Sandee(?) conflict that's supposed to be continued in season 2. I think it could be interesting, BUT I don't know how confident I am about Bas' acting skills. My biggest hope for season 2 is that it will give even focus to Wayu and whichever other couples there will be...which should consist of Mark/Kit for the most part tbh.
What does that even mean? (for those of us who aren't American)...
Ok. I get it now. Aside from knowing that it was an American holiday, I didn't know anything else about it. Also, just googled the movie. Seems like it's a little old. lol Surprised it's still a popular saying.
And also I really don't enjoy the story about Pha not being there lol it's just a little silly. It's not like…
There would have been a whole round of other complaints were the actor changed too, really, especially here. If MDL commenters can complain and have a gripe with anything, they will. lol Leaving Pha's "messages" there without Pha himself would probably have been the bes course of action.
Basically "Together with me" is a prequel of "Bad Romance" although it was released after bad romance. There is…
I'm not sure, but in the same way you really don't need to watch Kiss: The Series at all if you're only in it for Pete and Kao, you don't need to watch Bad Romance if you're only here for Korn and Knock. You're really not missing anything.
Rungthiva still looks very suspicious to me.Note she bailed Tann out last episode, making the play that she believed…
Yeah, now that you mention it, I can see that as well. However, when she said, “Tann killed Pued, and Por tried to kill Tann, why would brothers do that to each other?” I felt that with her tone, it was like she was trying to tell Aem that what he'd just reported to her didn't make sense to kinda let him know she felt like he was BSing her and she wasn't buying it. All those other points still stand, though. Now I'm kinda thinking that maybe Rungthiva runs a rival sex trafficking scheme against the politician and the police chief or was involved with them until something went wrong (i.e.-Jane's death).
Thank you for bringing up those points. I'm even more anxious for next week now, but thank you. lol
At least 12 hours handcuffed to a baluster, dehydrated, the first thing Dr. Bun does is to check to see if Tan is OK. I almost cried along with them. The shower scene was GREAT, but that's standard for Max and Tul. I'm just loving how this story is going. I can't believe we have four more episodes to go...like what else is gonna happen? Before, I felt like Jane's sister was might have been in on the whole thing, but now I get the feeling she's gonna pop later toward the end and save them somehow, but who knows? At this rate, she could wind up dead next episode and we'll be figuring out who killed *her*. Ugh...is it February 1st yet???
