Yeah the drama was so good until the very end, a little bit of confusion but I guess we’ll leave it to our imagination. Even the extra episodes wasn’t helpful lol
Omg I’ve just finished the drama and I have so many questions lol However, everyone keeps saying i should read the novel to understand more of what happened in the background but the thing is, we’re watching the drama not reading novels 🤧 I need more context drama wise. Anyways, it was a good drama though. Would recommend it for sure.
I am honestly confused as to what kind of relationship does the 3rd prince have with Empress Lu. He looks too young to be involved with her. I feel like even the Princess is older than him. At first I thought she was a mother figure to him but it’s very odd I’m still trying to pinpoint it 🤣 like, how and where did he come across Empress Lu?
This drama has taught me so much about loyalty and patience. As Fang Jian Ming once said it’s been generations for the Fang clan to serve the Emperors line behind the scene and he’s the last of them still maintaining that traditon (baixi). I don’t mind the ending they all had their happy ending (Haishi & Fang Jian Ming are doing great favours for their ancestors and the future of their state).
What attracted me to this drama is the poster and the eye-candy pairings otherwise rest is total trash. The dumbest…
Couldn’t agree more. The switch of character and expression from the male lead and his father made me wanna punch the screen lol. They made things more confusing.
I don’t even know where to begin with this drama. The whole thing was basically about the crazy aunty. Never a sweet screen time for the main leads until the very last minute.

At first I watched this when it was airing than dropped it cause I was very confused. Attempted to watch it again during lockdown and I’m glad I did. Just finished the drama and I loved it 🥺 brings back memories when I first loved Lee Min Ho’s dramas. The storyline is kinda confusing in the first 3 episodes but if you don’t skip through it you’ll eventually pin point the storyline. I’m satisfied with this drama :)
