It adheres to human and non-human "straight" relationship patterns, wherein pregnancy is a consequence of interactions among parties involved. Omegas bear the children of alphas, alphas bear the children of enigmas, etc. And the unifying factor is that heat and pregnancy mark the end of the character's identity as a man. An in-depth analysis, unfettered by contemporary gender identity politics, would expose the "straightness" of omegaverse to anyone

In some conservative cultures, women have had to adopt male disguises to access resources reserved for men. Omegas concealing their identities as betas or alphas mirrors the lived experiences of women and isn't an unprecedented or fascinating occurrence

Blind devotion to omegaverse by its fans has incentivized authors and producers to promote it at the expense of BLs within the spheres of novels, comics, animations, and recently, dramas

Societal pressure to conform to "straight" norms burdens relationships with the expectation of producing offspring. Omegaverse panders to the societal comfort zones of dominance, submission, and compulsory procreation, garnering widespread backing and interest

That's my point. There's an unfair imbalance in the entertainment industry when BLs with deep storylines and character development face censorship, while omegaverse, which doesn't match that level of depth, is allowed to thrive

"Pregnant men?" You're renaming women and calling it different or worldbuilding

I have no problem with gay stories or relationships. Being a gay person myself, that'd be hypocritical

I have a problem with omegaverse trying to pass off its furry-coded "straight" fetishes or obsession with non-human dominance rituals, scent marking, and heat cycles as gay storytelling

Happiness that relies on non-stop praise or support for omegaverse isn't built to last
