i'm on ep 4 rn and this feels so silly compared to season 1 where each episode was amazing :( what a let down…
The romance feels odd because the actress is different, and because of the whole amnesia trope, but if you forget about them being together or not, and focus on enjoying their interactions you will have a better feel for the romance. On the other hand, I think it is great that ML is Badass and OP vs Weak only winning by luck in season 1.
Rewatched this recently again, honestly its a good watch if you overlook some stuff and just here for a nice story
I would say that more than "some" stuff. We are left with a huge potential for the abyss orb, but it falls second one of the villains with the biggest plot armor ever. The romance on the other hand, is great at a rom-com level.
Honestly don't get the hate around this showMm like why? watched and loved it soo much
The show is very good for a rom-com, but not so much for a fantasy mystery. The romance is cute and develops well, but the mystery, the villain and the fantasy element itself falls short with repetition and lack of explanations for most things. Overall, I liked the show very much, but I don't lie to myself, the show has a weak plot and poor writing.
Greetings! I am not going to watch this, but thanks to the clips on social media I am somewhat curious about this one. Please spoil me about the end. What was the conclusion to the story and what happened with all main characters?
I am currently re-watching this drama and I think it is one of those stories that only has charm the first time…
I gave it a 10/10 the first time I watched it, and I am tempted to rewatch it, but I am afraid that like you I will be more analytical this time around and will find more flaws than originally.
i recommend anyone interested in this drama to skip the first 6 eps to save yourself frustration, anger, annoyance,…
Dramaland shows are about romance, but also, romance, so in my opinion, it is not that we should avoid the drama but for the show itself to be well balanced and reward our time with more feel good moments, warm moments and even comedy than angst. There must be drama, but it is so much better when it happens sooner than later, so we get to be rewarded with happiness most of the time and by the end.
This isn't romance driven it's more about family. as of the episode I'm on now episode 56 the side characters…
I will give this one a try. After a few months watching rom-coms, sitcoms and family dramas, I think I have learned to appreciate the family element and comedy, and not only the romance.
I like doing my research before investing time on hours and hours of a drama because I have been disappointed more than once by now.
I am only on episode 3 now, but the bickering between the teacher and lawyer make it obvious that they will fall in love even when they are hinting a "connection" between the father that owns the flower shop and the teacher. The friction between the lawyer and the teacher should create more than enough moments for us to enjoy their romance. I also consider now that romance is not only after two people start dating, but all their chemistry and interactions from the moment they meet to dating and beyond.
I guess the best would be for me concentrate on the family aspect for now, and let other things develop naturally.
Thank you for following up with me and answering my questions.
Please be patient with me as I may come back to this thread to vent about the show every now and then.
This one caught my attention thanks to this comment, but I would I would like to know how good or bad are previous…
I will give it a try, but like an anime, I will try not to binge to not get overwhelmed. My goal with this one is have something funny/romantic to watch for a few minutes to come back later and make slow progress.
Hola! I think this time I am prepared to watch this! I understand what I am getting into. This is not your usual heartwarming and lighthearted fairytale romance drama, but a romcom inspired on a manga, which means that I should expect a manga cast, with tsundere, yandere and everything in between! My hope is still in that I will find it funny this time and rewarding when I reach the end of this season and season 2.
Itazura na Kiss: Love in Tokyo Season 2 can be put into this list. The main leads got married in the last episode…
This one caught my attention thanks to this comment, but I would I would like to know how good or bad are previous seasons. I feel like I have to watch the prequels to get the full picture, but I would like to know if there is and how bad it is about "love triangles" and "break ups" in the prequels.
Currently at ep 18 and ima be honest... this drama has a lot of problems, I mean god damn! 🤦‍♂️and the…
I had a similar problem with Boys Over Flowers. I want to believe that people think these romance dramas are good because of the nostalgia because otherwise they are most definitely not good! The male lead is a red flag; an abusive and rude guy, and please consider that this version is an angel of light compared to the Korean version. The love triangle old trope where the female lead falls for the other guy doesn't help because is a literal waste of time, and the female lead herself not liking the male lead is just sad, and feels like the writers are forcing the main leads to be together when they don't really like each other... for me, it is an uncomfortable experience. Yes, the main leads get a free pass to most things, and we can forgive them because they are the leads, but here and all other versions, the main leads cross too many lines that should never be crossed.
Ep 11 was very dissapointing and so boring that I had to skip scenes. The plot is a mess. None of the character…
And this is why I always wait for romance dramas to be completed, do my homework and investigate about things that may annoy me or waste my time before I start watching...
Was really looking forward to this drama, especially after watching the trailers of the leads' rivalry in high…
They were more like very best friends than lovers! They are great actors, and I am not even close to the level of a script writer, but I blame them for not allowing us to get immersed to the point of believing they were a thing. A Dramaland couple does not feel like a couple because they kiss or hold hands, but because of their gaze, because they care about each other, because their exclusivity with each other and even sexual tension, but none of that matters when the writers insist on making both leads joke around all the time like they are best friends... It might be this or something else, but they most definitely do not feel like a couple even by the end...
