I don't know why. The age gap never bothered me; in fact, I don't even think about it. In CDramaland, most of the successful actresses are paired with much younger liuliangs, anyway, because the older ones want to be the top-biller. It's a conundrum their system has created. But back to this particular topic, I believe this particular director likes to pan away from intimate scenes. His other dramas do the same thing.
