I stopped having a curfew once I went to college, but American culture is different and I totally get it. And it's not like her mum or uncle are going to do a bed check or call to see if she's back when the clock strikes. They just want her to use good judgement.

In Amidst a Snowstorm of Love, her character had an 11pm curfew when at home, but when not at home, she was traveling all over the place, living with the ML on the weekends and ultimately sharing a bed with him. Her parents, who like the parents in this series are nice and sane people, were not checking on her.
