This is what happens when production and cinematography get prioritized over storytelling. The plot was underwhelming and lacked impact. Sure, the visuals were stunning, but beyond that the story fell flat, basically a summarized version of Haunted Palace.

Honestly, the story isn’t gripping or exciting at all. It feels like a copy of Haunted Palace at least that one prioritized storytelling over flashy cinematography. I don’t get why some Kdrama fans drool over this just because of the pretty visuals. Sure, the CGI is solid and the actors are great, but overall it’s underwhelming. I kept zoning in and out, dragging myself just to finish it.
