I went into this thinking it was a TV series so as it was going on I was curious to see what direction it was headed. At the end I was looking for the next episode button only to realize it was a movie which ultimately disappointed me more than anything since I was kind of expecting a lot more from the narrative going forward. Not terrible but not great, interesting concept that I felt needed expanding.

This show was so enjoyable to watch. I guessed who big mouse was but ngl the show had me second guessing myself a few times. The 2 main things that disappointed me was the lack of consequence for Mi Ho and Hye Jin's deaths. For characters who held so much importance to the story you'd think the consequence for their deaths would hold more weight, but at the end they felt like they were tossed aside. The conclusion felt so lazy to me because they just let Choi "Win" just to say fuck it lets just kill him the end.

I was right in my initial sentiment that this story definitely could've been wrapped up in 10 to 12 episodes. The last 4 to 6 episodes weren't needed but they weren't bad episodes either so I don't think they deserved such low ratings. overall the series was good with pacing issues and last thing I'll say is justice for my man Seo

I've been wanting to start this series for a long time now but I kept putting it off because sometimes I just don't have the energy/patience to sit through 12+ episodes of a show over an hour long.

This show isn't a slow burn but like I said earlier by episode 4 & 5 is when it really enters its flow state. By the time I got to like episode 7 it hit me this story needs to reach a conclusion by episode 10 or 12 at MAX.

I'm currently starting episode 9 & my sentiment is still the same. Right now I'm really enjoying this series but the fact that I know there's 7 episodes left makes me feel like the pacing is going to take a massive hit where is what I think is the cause for the low ratings for the rest of the episodes.

Ngl I low-key felt bad for So Ra in one episode just to IMMEDIATELY take it back the next lmao the series really starts to pick up by episode 4 & right now I'm hooked. The low ratings for the later episodes have me worried but as always I'll form my own opinions when I get to them.

No, I didn't have any expectations on what type of series this was. I'm responding to the comments I've seen saying they expected one thing saying it was another. I just wanted to see what the first episode was about

I know this was before I watched taxi driver but after listening to Only by Lee Hi like 20 times Idk how I'm just realizing he and Moon Sook are both the main characters in the Music video

Seems a lot of people feel this is the weakest of the 3 seasons and I can see why but I actually like this season more than season 2. The over arching stories that connected the crimes for s1 & 2 were great but this season didn't need that imo. Instead what I felt it needed was more episodes for the stories to be fleshed out. This season fell a bit short because the stories felt rushed and characters didn't really sit with the decisions made. like once we got to episode 10 taxi squad just started killing people like it was nothing(I'm not mad at it lol but it shocked me)

(Side note I will say this every season I LOVE every time Maria is on screen I desperately want her and Madam Ja to be permanent team members)

At first the phishing scam case annoyed me because it was an EXACT copy of the movie "Dont buy the seller" with Shin Hae Sun (and that movie was not good) but they actually expanded the story and made it LEAGUES better.

Overall the season was really good it just needed to flesh out the stories. Im still Curious as to why they waited until the last 2 episodes to reference what happened at the end of s2 tho. That was a weird choice to make

Final thoughts

The way I interpreted it is it was a lose lose situation no matter what. At that point she's branded a traitor and would most likely be tortured or just killed immediately and if she fled to the north the same thing would happen regardless so she would have to live as a ghost for 7 years and even if she chose to live whose to say that info would make its way to Kim do gi?

Nearly 20 minutes into episode 8 and after watching this flashback i'm sorry but I don't feel bad for Park Min Ho. Obviously he didn't deserve to die but he could've easily avoided that situation. it's like he wanted to be attacked. If you see 3 mfs sitting in a dark room and one goes to grab a weapon don't stand there and let them attack you.....

I've been seeing this pop up more and more on my FYP and apparently there's people who aren't happy Sae Ro yi and Yi Seo got together and my question is why? I've seen some say it felt forced but I could say the same thing with him getting with Soo Ah. Immediately they show case Sae Ro Yi is a socially awkward person and isn't good at reading the room. One of the main reasons he even connected with Soo ah was because of their shared connection with his dad. from there it basically just becomes a trauma bond. Soo Ah constantly said time and time again she's going to put her future and career before Sae Ro Yi. Even tho she isn't against him she isn't with him either meanwhile Yi Seo has been supporting him from the ground up taking the time to understand him, but people are upset with that?

I believe she did however I think she was just able to get over her feelings and move on easier especially since he was a dick & kept pushing her away, but then he started trying to self insert himself in her life more which is annoying and why I think they shouldn't have ended up together.

I said siblings because they're only 10 years apart siblings are more believable tbh

SOO GOOD, But how tf did we get here?

Absolutely loved this series Honestly it's so addicting to watch when you start it. From badass leads who actually use their brains, mystery, a nice OST just so Good. What's funny is I dropped all of us are dead because I couldn't stand the cast. So many characters where just DUMB, yet one 9 year old girl in this series was smarter than everyone in AOUAD.
I could praise this series non stop but not everything is perfect and I have to call out/question some of the writing choices this series made as well.

I said it in a previous comment once you get to the halfway mark you notice the pace starts to slow down a bit. It shifts from the main focus of the infected & the disease & focuses more on the side cast. Normally that isn't a bad thing because you need to grow and establish your characters, but it's almost as if the entire plot line about the infected gets forgotten. Instead of the threat of the infected you're now only involved in this random self inflicted drama between the residents and you're asking how did we get here?

You have this resident who killed his wife and got caught now spending his entire time trying to infect/kill the cast in hopes of getting away with murder and a woman hell bent on trying to control the entire apartment complex like there isn't an entire zombie outbreak going on right now. Speaking of zombies where did they all go??? You barely see them anymore. They even mention infected mutations but we never see them in action. And to make things even more confusing this Random character suddenly becomes the big bad OUT OF NOWHERE!! So many characters going against the only 2 people actively trying to keep everyone safe and everything fair for literally no reason.

Still a great watch but the side plot for everything just felt so random considering they should all be fighting for survival against infected but instead grown adults wrapped up in middle school drama. Which is again why I LOVED the main leads intelligence and maturity, And you see how they themselves are equally sick of the BS
