Very smart move and they also realise that the north emperor is now using divide and conquer political mind games. All very interesting and intriguing plot wise.

Another excellent, realistic review, couldn’t agree more because I came for the political intrigue and got mainly romantic comedy, I was therefore disappointed in the story . Actors were excellent in their character portrayals so worth a watch.

I did also think from that scene that he can move faster, like lightning speed , than anyone else, so director did an ok job delivering that scene. Still bit hazy on why armless guy can see this happening, don’t think director portrayed that bit as well 🤷🏻‍♀️

They have definitely given NN a facelift and tone down service in part 2, they must have rejigged her voice and definitely made her more mature to look at. I don’t think ML will end up with her so thats all I care about a love triangle at this early stage 👍

I think she has matured here, hence the grown up hairstyle and non cutesy childish voice and behaviour. Well hopefully she won’t be marrying the ML so phew 😅

My sentiments exactly a 17 year old plotting like a genius with superhuman strength, not realistic in my view. Breath of fresh air is definitely presented in this drama and a Knight in shining armour to rescue our slightly less than superhuman damsel in distress 🥰❤️

Absolutely agree with you, I think MingTan is an excellent character for all the reasons you mentioned. We have so many other wonderful strong FL’s in other dramas not everyone can save themselves and have supernatural strength and intelligence. I am very satisfied with this story and couple so far 🙌👏❤️

I fear this drama will be delayed further based on IQIYi just announced The Prime Minister’s Disguise dropping 27May. Although I am interested in this also I really want Cheng Yi first, but alas not looking good 😭
