Could have been worst but it's not that good

Let me start with the casting.

As always yang yang excels, but FML lacks emotions and expresivity. Also, the kiss scenes are... It doesn't matter how great it's Yang Yang at those when she's like a stick. It's awkward to see those scenes because it feels like either he's forcing her or she's like a plastic doll not reacting at all. Another thing that I didn't like was that FM seemed unhealthy skinny. I know that this is not related to her acting and probably it's just the way she is but I was more time concerned about her health that enjoying her acting.
SMF was funny and bubbly and the villains were as always in this type of Chinese dramas not that mean in the end.

The plot and story it's pretty simple and it became pretty boring like the ML and FL relationship. It's funny and interesting how they started but then it became just plain. There's not much development at all and it's just a story that could have been told in 10 eps instead of 30.

Music was okay, nothing worth mentioning.

In general, I think you can watch this and enjoy it if you like Yang Yang. Otherwise, there are much better options out there.

Once you're in it's really difficult to get out

That headline could be also the synopsis of the drama. I'm writing this after finishing 3rd season.
This will be spoiler-free and probably since it's pretty late this won't help many people but here goes my opinion of this drama (especially the acting).

Rich families live in a luxury penthouse apartments with 100 floors. Heigh has meaning here because the higher they live more powerful and rich they are.
The story's quite simple. Revenge. Revenge because of the past, the present, and the future.
It shows not only the greed of human nature but also the world we're living in where rich people play and discard the rest of the world like they are not human beings.
Every character has his own reasoning that you can try to understand (whether you can relate to it or not).
Greed, love, pride. Name it, it will be in this series. But everything comes with a price and some things can't be hidden forever.

The music's great even though the OST is quite short on quantity.

Here comes my main thing about this drama. The acting was incredible. BUT you need to be aware, this is a makjang. This drama have 2 very different types of acting. The regular one and the makjang one. And they blend great.

I'm gonna start by separating them. This show has a lot of characters and I can't write about every one of them but I'll try to cover the most important ones.

On the makjang type, there is THE character with her daughter. Cheon Seo Jin and Ha Eun Byul.

- Kim So Yeon as Cheon Seo Jin: Previously to this, I had watched 2 dramas with her as FL. And her acting was something between average and chemistry less. I was expecting very little since having no chemistry with Jung Kyung Ho it's impossible but OH MY I was wrong.
Kim So Yeon was born to play makjang roles. As Cheon Seo Jin she's the craziest, baddest, exaggerated, relentless, prideful, and disrespectful character I've seen. Her facial expressions and reactions are so over the top and exaggerated but at the same time, you (I) feel them believable. She won a Daesang for this role and it was very well deserved (unlike the one in the show).

Choi Ye Bin as Ha Eun Byul: Holy Moly, if Cheon Seo Jin it's crazy what about her daughter Ha Eun Byul. She is more like a spoiled child with a crazy mother but her descent into madness it's awesome. She portrays well how his characters want to be loyal to his mother to the point of becoming completely insane. Her reactions like her mother's and her facial expressions are incredible too. And that crazy smile. I've never seen her in any drama and I'm looking forward to seeing her again. I'm curious about how she will play a regular character.

Also, the couple Lee Kyu Jin and Go Sang Ah were crazy along with all his family. Both were like a makjang comical relief.

On the regular type, there are some characters that stand out too, but one pops above all. Lee Ji Ah as Shim Soo Ryun is the pillar of this series.

Lee Ji Ah as Shim Soo Ryun: Throughout the series her character evolves in a very interesting way. She faces and plans everything and her acting is on point all the time. I think she has chemistry with all the characters she interacts with but her scenes with Dan Tae and Seo Jin especially are great. Also with both Seok Kyung and Seok Hoon.

Eugene as Oh Yoon Hee: The third mom and the one that probably did more for her child. Eugene portrays the desperation and the injustice that she faces because of other people in a very realistic and relatable way. Her interactions with Ro Na were great and her acting was on point too.

Uhm Ki Joon as Joo Dan Tae: I have only seen this actor play roles where he was very kind and good till the point he was the bullied one. Joo Dan Tae is like the supreme bastard. You need to watch the 3 seasons to understand how mad I am right now.
But his acting was good.

Ha Yoon Chul and Kang Ma Ri were good too. Nothing to point out.

THE KIDS

Here comes the other part of the series. A lot of the revenge in the series involves or it happens because of the kids.
Especially 4 of them had really great acting that really made me want to see them working on other projects.

Choi Ye Bin as Ha Eun Byul was covered before

Jo Soo Min as Min Seol Ah: Her acting was great. Her character was great. Everything that she does has a meaning and it's important and her acting and portrayal were just perfectly nailed. Her expressions were great too.

Han Ji Hyun as Joo Seok Kyung: I have to admit that I really like Han Ji Hyun so I may be biased. She portrays a spoiled child who always has things the way she wants but also she has to deal with abuses at his home. Abuses that will take you a long time to understand. Her acting and facial expression are great and even some people could think that it's exaggerated I think it's just her way to express it and I feel it is very realistic. For that reason, she's not in the makjang category, unlike Ha Eun Byul.

Kim Young Dae as Joo Seok Hoon: I'm amazed by how with that very little facial expression an actor can express so much. Portraying a cold character that only cares about her sister he still manages to be THE one child that you will probably want to keep watching. Also, his way of talking and his tone fit great.

Bae Ro Na and Yoo Je Ni and the rest of the children are okay, Ro Na has a bit more weight in the drama due to being the daughter of one of the main actresses and her portrayal was good but nothing to point out.

The rest of the supporting cast was great too. All the secretaries in the drama are good. I like the portrait of Gu Ho Dong and Logan and also I find kind of funny the Ma Doo Ki teacher.

Saeguk with disney taste

If you like Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung watch it. If you are not that into them you may don't like this drama.

It's a saeguk where everything is too naive. I felt like everything was a bit "poor". The story was ok, the acting was ok.
If you want to watch a saeguk there are a lot of better choices. If you want to watch something similar but better you can just watch Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung.

If you still want to give this one a try you probably won't regret it. As I said, it's ok. Not great, just okay.

PD: Remarcable acting from Kwak Dong Yeon

You can watch it but you don't need to

It's interesting to see how a makeup company works. The story itself is pretty simple and I think what could have been a great drama ended just being ok. Don't get me wrong I think if you like a really good pretty boy chasing the girl that he likes and protecting her this drama it's made for you. To be honest I really enjoyed the side stories of the ML sisters and their acting than the main couple. It's watchable but doesn't expect great things out of it.

The first drama I watched of both Rowoon and Won Jin Ah. Both have decent acting but I found it hard to connect with both characters.

I can relate to what ML wants and his reasoning and actions and I like how the FL is portrayed on the situation that she's in.
But I felt SML was completely plain and bland, I can't understand his background and story and on top of that, I think it drowns the best acting in the show which is from Lee Joo Bin. I think she nailed that character and how it should be played but when both are in the same scene it was like she was all alone.

Bittersweet as life. Must watch.

I still not sure if I loved it or if it made me miserable. It's as bittersweet as life itself.

I cried at every chapter, not just out of sadness but also because it makes me appreciate life. It was my first Uee's drama and I loved her all the way. I didn't watch any Lee Seo Jin dramas before and I loved him too, as well as the rest of the cast.

Without spoiling anything you can expect all the kdramas clichés in here. Acting is what makes this series incredible.

I don't think is a drama to rewatch. I'm 100% sure I don't want to put myself through this again. But I won't forget it.

A really touching Rollercoaster about mental health and human relationships

Watch it.

If you like any member of the cast, watch it.

If you want a pretty accurate representation of mental issues, watch it.

If you want joy, watch it.

If you want to cry.... watch it.

I think it was one of the most memorable and touching dramas that I've seen lately. From the several mother/daughter relationships that are portrayed in it to the rich/poor boy/girl relationships.

Just watch it and enjoy it all, from the sad moments to the really touching ones. And recommend it to your friends and family.

I think it helped me with my own mental issues.

It could have been much better but it's not bad

You can enjoy this show but it could have been much better.

A lot of things bothered me. Some things were rushed too much and some others were just dragged that wasn't necessary at all.

FML was fine. Not the best work of Park Min Young but if you like her she's good in this drama as always. Both ML and SML were good too but the way the show just forgets about SML that fast is very dislikeable.

I loved Kang Hyung Suk as Gwang Nam and I would have enjoyed it a lot more the drama if his story was more important and they had given him more screen time.
I loved Lee Joo Bin but the fact that the drama tells that little about her story and her marriage with the ML is disappointing. I like the way she quickly gives up and supports the FML and ML relationship.

A lot of things were rushed at the last episode and I disliked that too.

Great Romcom

I liked it a lot more than I thought. It starts slow, FL is a noisy and stubborn person who can't maintain any job because she can tolerate injustice and she's famous for put like a million civilian complaints.
ML is a cold, stubborn, and inflexible dude who also has a great justice sense.
Once you know them and they start interacting the series starts to get better by the minute. Their chemistry was fantastic and even when the story it's a bit simple and you can expect most of the stuff that happens just the main couple make the series worth watching.

PD: Nana's laugh it's one of the fulfilling sounds that you can ear.
PD2: Small spoiler. When Nana waits for you to celebrate anything with her in your place and you ignore her as SML does in the first chapter you deserve nothing but pain.
