This was most definitely an interesting match. I’m not sure what I was expecting but I am glad I watched it. Although it’s not an overly romantic series which is my genre it really does delve into family ties, loyalty an honor on such a strong level. I most certainly enjoy the overall theme of the series. Truly does chronicle of the life of the main lead from her very birth through her middle-age life. Although it was not a very fast paced series I must admit that it was really good because it showed the internal wars instead of just the external. While most of these series like these show war and politics, I enjoy the fact that this one brought light to the conflicts of women in that time and the things that they had to overcome and endure in addition to the sacrifices that they had to make. It was both refreshing and saddening because our main lead really did sacrifice a lot but it showed how she was truly honored by nearly every person that she encountered and I don’t mean superficially or in vain I mean guide they really look at the courage, loyalty and the truthfulness of the person and that’s why she was really loved. I also love that this series greatly ties three siblings together although they seem to be on their own path a little later this Siri still managed to show their bond and love and loyalty overtime to each other but with great conflict. It is a really great watch I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for one that they can learn about the older Japanese culture and possibly a little selflessness in the process. You’ll get a great deal of plotting, some action, lots of heartwarming moments and so sweet moments but there is little to no romance in this although love is apparent.
