Finally, a drama thats more than decent.
I'll keep it very short, there's no reason to give it a full review.
I'll skip the technical aspects, those are all from "decent" to "good". Yes, even the fight choreography (aspect that usually sucks in kdramas). The main issue, as usual, is with the screenwriter. Decent premise (some sort of "Taken"-like), but the execution is meh at times. Some of the dialogue is good. Almost all of the character work is good (apart from some "pfff" moments, when drama was needed and the cast suddenly becomes dumb and stops acting in-character). A couple of plot devices and plot contrivances. Again, because drama was needed, or to push the plot. Good casting, good acting. And here I feel the need to praise the acting of the younger cast. Most of the k-dramas nowadays have "meh" acting, so it was a welcome surprise to see some "good" again.
And now, the less than meh. Almost everything of it its in the second half of the last episode. And, as I mentioned, some stupid decisions in the episodes before it, just to make sure that the series it won't just end after episode 7 (I don't know the exact episode, I've put a random number, just to make a point, but you'll know what I'm talking about when you'll come across that scene).
Overall, it gets a rating of........ 7? No, lets go with 7,5. Very enjoyable. More than decent technical aspects, characters, premise. Re-watch value? Dunno, I don't think so. I'm not THAT impressed by it.
Now, a better discussion would be: how many of the people giving it a 10, also gave a 10 to some sh***y series (the usual "omg, so beautiful people, thas a 10" approach)? Imagine saying that the effort put in creating this tv show is the same as the one for some other (inferior) ones. Now, thats a worthy discussion :))
