I kinda wish we moved past the intimacy coordinating for pairings that are already relatively comfortable SOLELY because the acting for other scenes is really not it most of the time. People overlook that because FK or JD have good chemistry- or because the storyline's got a hold on them- which GMMTV is very good at doing to divert the attention from said issue. It feels hella static at times- a friend of mine mentioned how awkward Khao's whole 'slo-mo blinking' situation is, especially when there isn't any dialogue and we're forced to go off of non-verbal cues. Does that make sense? It's all well and good that THK is enjoyable for the plot- I'm still watching, so- but it'll be way more enjoyable if the acting wasn't subpar or forced.

Aight...I hate to be that guy, but Santa's facial expressions are kinda painful, to say the least- I'm sorryyy 🙏 Him and Perth work well as a couple, but sucker- when those huge-ass smiles dominate the screen, I really can't take him seriously. Nothing against the guy himself, just the acting 😬 Minus that the drama is pretty generic- GMMTV for ya 🤷

Brooo Ep. 7 was sooo...arggghhh emotional turmoil. Props to Motojima Junsei 'cause that guy ate that emotional scene up without a care in the world- I always appreciate when actors aren't afraid to 'ugly cry' for the sake of selling the act, 'cause I value non-verbal cues a lot when it comes to the emotional progression/delivery of a scene. Highly rate that- and the two have such good chemistry! The scene where Haruki and Jin are holding hands at the park is so simplistic yet speaks volumes about how far they've come in terms of intimacy and their overall relationship. Japanese dramas are just in a league of their own, damn...(Minus the shitty wigs and cringe-worthy scenes from live-action ones, haha)

Yeah, he corrected the assumption that his name implied ‘star’ to meaning ‘bomb for nuclear war’ or something along those lines, which is a wild statement in itself. To say it to a Japanese guy after going through his passport and finding out he’s Japanese is an entirely different thing altogether.

He confesses to Win right at the end, but I’m assuming his social status and influence gave him a pass- or, at least, a shorter sentence. Thyme mentions him getting bailed during the boat scene in the last ep.

I might be remembering it wrong but I believe it’s Jeff Satur’s OST from KinnPorsche, Why Don’t You Stay. It played at the end of the drama, so I’m taking a gamble by assuming it also played during the guitar scene 😅

I’d say the ending to this kinda echoed DFF with the poor execution- although it wasn’t as bad overall. The first 6 episodes were interesting, but as soon as the production team tried to explain the entirety of the show’s premise in eps 7-8, it immediately fell off.

Big up to Fuaiz for single-handedly carrying the newer generation of BOC actors on his back- I say this not because of his NC scenes (although I genuinely feel bad for the staggering quantity he had to act out as the youngest cast member), but because of the sheer skill required to portray a broken, yet cynical character who rebels against those he unwittingly places his trust in. All in all, 4 Minutes was, unfortunately, a let-down, despite the promising acting and cinematography.

Woah, what? That's a sick theory- I kinda feel like rewatching the entire thing to get a feel for each character's perspective with this narrative in mind :) That, or it might be a guilt-ridden situation where those that f*cked up become delirious from the culpability (with reference to whoever the Hell got killed, Nan's torture, Great's parents supposedly killing Tyme's, etc.)

I love how all the characters are morally grey in some way, shape or form. No one seems innocent- Korn's got Tonkla as a side-d*ck, Tonkla is just using Win to fulfil his sexual desires, Great's 1st 'prophecy' is a hit-and-run incident and Tyme isn't even bothered to learn his patients' names. Win is kinda unpredictable to me, especially after today's ep.- the phone screen ting? Yeah, they're all kinda f*cked.

Bro this is sooo goood. I've loved Daou since Love in Translation but man did he get even better in CoL. The acting and absence of a wig is hella promising. Can't forget cutie Offroad, of course. The cinematography is seamless and, surprisingly, the reincarnation trope doesn't seem like queerbaiting. So far, it's pretty natural (aside from the falling(-onto-lips) scene(s)) and well-paced. Even though the sfx is kinda cringey, I rate Daou's approach to those scenes; he conveys the pain very well :)
