Fingers crossed it airs soon. However, I fear it will get lost in the backlog. The market is definitely tough now, and dramas need to find ways to stand out in the crowd.
I'm hoping WXY's drama JF will introduce him to a wider multi-generational audience.
What an opening ceremony and welcome this morning, for 34-year-old Chen Lijun!Having honed her craft for more…
Thank you for sharing. This really is something quite remarkable. I don't think I've seen anything like it. I saw your wonderful posts on her MDL page highlighting her journey from stage to screen, and enlightening us on the significance of this transition.
Yes, it's annoying because Weibo used to be the best platform to find material and seek info. Now, it's difficult and not really worth it. You can't even search the same anymore.

Yes, as long as the flow is good and the story fits together it should be fine. If the editing looks choppy and things don't add up, we'll know they butchered it.

Short, sweet, and focused. Honestly, I come across very few dramas that can pull off long episode counts. The biggest problem with long-form dramas is they stagger the plot and waste time. People tend to forget that 3 episodes is a longer runtime than most movies, and 6 is the equivalent of two films. More than enough time to tell a story. Very rarely do long dramas utilise the extra time to add complexity, they usually fill it with fluff.
There must be alot going on behind the scenes seems like iqiyi is gonna push everything back which is annoying…
Yes, and expecting Xu Kai's dual platform drama "Spring of the Blade" to air too. I remember when "Love in Red Dust" was the hot favourite to air at the start of July. Now, it just keeps getting pushed back.
Actually, this has happened quite a bit for me too. I think they've updated their code and it makes international viewing harder. Sometimes the pictures just don't load. There are even scrolling limitations.
