The real motive behind the kidnapping is still unclear. He blames the ML, claiming that the ML hired him to carry out the kidnapping and promised him a monetary reward. However, it can be inferred that the kidnapping was preplanned, as the kidnapper had already planted cameras in the FL's father's home.

One of this director’s other season 2s isn't going well either the female lead didn’t return, and it followed a similar formula of teasing romance without anything substantial.
And now, they're not even getting together because it's supposedly against the rules of Yullim which the male lead himself wrote.

That ending was a complete disaster.
It felt like it undid all the build-up and left nothing satisfying.

Honestly, I would’ve preferred no romance at all over whatever that was.

Now I'm sure the director has a formula: teasing a possible romance without giving us anything, in hopes of getting a season 2.
I just hope it doesn't turn out like Flex x Cop, where the female lead didn’t return and it ruined all the progress from season 1.
I just want a season 2 with a happy ending even if romance is only a small part of it, just like this season.

This drama has some of the shittiest parents. MF's don't even care about child abuse and another one just want the other child to abandon his dream to be a PA for his own brother.

If you look closely at the ending narration, the artist girl seems to have heterochromia or something similar that allows her to see more colors. You can also see that she had painted works similar to the ones he had previously sold, including one that was later bought by the friend at a flea market.
The artist was jealous of the girl and rebranded her painting as his own, even copyrighting it, since she had no proof that she had painted in that style before being accused of copying him.
But what he didn’t realize was that the girl had hidden meanings embedded in her paintings, which eventually led to him being exposed.

He bought her painting from flea market and sold that as it is.

With the track record of the shows I’ve seen so far, my luck hasn’t been that great especially when it comes to potential romance in the next season, whether it’s Vagabond or Flex X Cop. So i hope our ship sails this season.

The director probably used the CEO as a tool to make us and the male lead jealous, but him getting so close to the female lead like he’s about to kiss her and her not reacting at all felt creepy.

Also, the scene between the female lead’s ex and the male lead was unintentionally very funny.

The interaction between Lee Jin U and Heo Min Jeong was so enjoyable the way he tried to make eyes at her and she called him out on it. Also, the openness between them was such a refreshing thing. Her admitting that he probably knows the current her best, and not hiding her past, is something I can’t quite put into words, but it truly made me happy.

After what the director did with Flex X Cop being such a tease and the female lead not returning for Season 2.
I really hope that in this case, there’s either proper romance or none at all. No vague implications or half-hearted in-betweens.

I think the friend might have liked her even before the male lead met her, but he never got the chance to express his feelings.

He moved on by throwing it but picket it back up because FL liked the cologne. 🤣🤣

I have a feeling, ever since I found out who the director is, that he’s such a tease that even with the romance tag, the only romance will be an accidental kiss and both leads liking each other without ever expressing their feelings.
