Sometimes I feel like I am watching a different drama than the rest of the users. The start is incredible childish. It seems like stg my 16 yo will enjoy. The chemistry is non existent 🙈 I like the FL but her voice and face expresions? She does not look and sound cutesy at all... Best things ? Neo an Zuo Ye !
I've dropped it on ep 16. The start was so good and I liked the chracters but then the story is not that complicated for this amount of episodes. It just got too draggy
Ep 1 was better than expected . The leads are smart and cunning. The enemies trope was set well. Character introductions done right. Even the cliff scene was acceptable 😃 Li Qin is fierce and we finally get a female general that looks and acts as one. Fight scenes were nice , even if the CGI at start lacked, at least there were hundreds of extras and it really looked as war. Bonus we aready got a bath scene 🔥🔥😁 All in all I'm sat for more. Also, the peacock feathers arrows. So extra I love it 😁
i feel like the ending was rushed and I wish they had more time in the mortal realm and I was kind of disappointed…
He probably did remembered her , hence his smile and the end quote : each ecounter is a fated one. China has censorship when it comes to transmigration plots. So if they would have made it more explicit than that it could have been banned.

Could they not forget everything Ruling has done so easily ? Of course they could have 🙈🙈 But besides that the drama delivered exactly what a Xianxia should. They took the usual xianxia tropes and put them into a fresh usage . No other type of drama can offer me the roller coaster of emotions a xianxia does , and on this point this couple delivered everything for me 🔥 I could feel their love, their teasing, their suffering, their anger, their lingering, even their rational thoughts， all...never got tired of their scenes together. The ending ? Better done than expected considering the censorship China has on transmigration dramas. Each encounter is a fated one.
After Untamed, Fangs of Fortune,Love Between Fairy & Devil and Till the end of Moon this couple takes the 5th place in my Xianxia couples ranking 😁
Also best gain after this drama : Arthur Chen's voice 👌🏻👏🥰
