Antu was at first interested in him because he caught her eye from how he handled MR 8 blaming situation. During and planning LU JIN's plan execution they were shown spending time together and FL falling for him.
" zombies" and gui sleal are elements of the Tomb Raider series. This is nothing surprising as even if the script is original it carries the roots from the the mother story.
The first teacher based on the charactee 死 on his hand was probably a death row convict. The fact that he was shown grateful to ZH before his death implied he got to live more years due to ZH. Probably when ZH training ended he had to die. The exact story for sure we will find it out till the end.
The drama is full of layers and details.
As for other series : I dropped POB when they started to make the drama a rom com and turned ML's character to mush from the strong start. I am also watching Justice in the Dark and will probably start Eternal Brotherhood season 2.

Btw if you have not watched it I highly recommend The Story of her. Is a short drama/ documentary with only 4 episodes. Episode 3 shows the realy story of Princess JieYou who was married to keep the aliance and to avoid war. That one is historical accurate.

Thank you! Yes that was my feeling, that is why I dropped it. Very much enjoyed first 10 episodes or so then it felt it changed into a diferent kind of drama. Too bad for me as I am not into fluff stuff especially when they make a weak ML out of a strong starting one.

I dropped this on ep 15 when was starting to turn into rom com from serious stuff and Wei Shao's character to mush from the strong start.
Someone who completed it do tell me in spoiler if it gets back to serious stuff and
fitting ending or close with The Story of Her, to know if I should pick it back up .
Preferable an objective opinion not from biased fans of the leads please.
