Title Meow Ears Up
Plot reminds me of one of the stories in Youths In The Breeze. I guess this is not an original plot at all. The SOTUS director has good track record in my eyes since he did My Engineer which I love, so I'm here for it. Probably will watch the anime.

So I guess it’s 2016 and the rules are only one kiss per series and they used it up. From fanfic this story…
Just going by your words, I was thinking this director did SOTUS, but he only did SOTUS S. Both seasons have similar feelings, but that's a little different then. My opinion still stands though. Same characters, but I respect the director from SOTUS.. and SOTUS S more. He did My Engineer too. :)

For the second couples, we will all cross our fingers for season 2! I personally think they ended this show a couple episodes earlier specifically to save enough material for season 2.

As far as SOTUS goes, as a die-hard SOTUS fan, I enjoyed this a lot, and I think that's probably why I enjoyed it. The director was indeed trying to "relive his SOTUS magic." I love Kongpab and Arthit's personalities both, but whether you liked them or not, I think Jin and Bbomb are lacking in an objective comparison here.

At least with SOTUS, the struggle between the characters was understood. Arthit felt pressure being the headhazer socially and directly from his seniors as well. All these while being inherently introverted. On the other hand, Kongpab is rigid, rich boy who strives to be a model student and someone for others to lean on. Their motives and personality clash is obvious and understandable.

Jin and Bbomb are not developed as much. Jin is maybe (?) a playboy, and Bbomb is sad? Lol. That is all I can think of! As far as plot goes, Bbomb's main characteristic is being jealous. I am surprised he didn't see Jin and his mom hugging and think Jin was cheating on him with his mom. Jin is shy, unsure, and perhaps insecure. He mainly cries, lets Bbomb do things for him, and is confused all the time.

I don't want to beat up Jin and Bbomb too much as I like their couple, but Nitiman was some guys in college. The most interesting plot "setting" is Bbomb and Aim being cousins and Aim kind of "betraying" Bbomb. Other than that, there is not much background.. What we got is just Jin the playboy and Bbomb the sad boy.

What a phenomenal finale!!! Bbomb and Jin don't need a kiss scene for me. They are the perfect no kiss scene couple!

I don't know if Keam and Ball can top this, but I will be watching!!!

I hope there are cute moments with Bam and Singh and Somsom and Jack as well even though they have already practically sailed.

I already see people calling him things like, "the most handsome actor in BL." He is such a delight to have if he does more BL or not! Glad to have seen him.

I definitely approach BL that way as I am on the team I am supposed to be 90% of the time.I used to be a Kdrama…

I'm still not getting why everyone likes this so much. This episode was much more interesting than the previous…
I definitely approach BL that way as I am on the team I am supposed to be 90% of the time.

I used to be a Kdrama fan, and this drama particularly excites me because it follows the Kdrama formula. Past Korean BLs have not done this, so if you ask me that is what people mean by "high production value." More than just the actual production value is tied to that idealization. People expect certain cliches.

Also! Kdrama are notorious for second leads and second lead syndrome. Kdrama just has to have a sad guy that gets his heartbroken. He always accepts it and walks away because he is the "kind, nice" guy. Nice guys finish last, you know? So of course Shi Woon has to be who the main character ends up with.. Someone caring like the class president?! Never an option in traditional Kdramas. Bad boys only. Lmao.

This is seen best in the Kdrama Boys Over Flowers which will be made over in Thailand (although original story is Japanese) under the name F4 starring Bright and Win. The female lead has a whole love story at the beginning with the second lead.. He is her first love/crush. But she has to end up with the stuck up rich boy with a bad attitude.

For me personally, I love to see the legacy of Kdrama transferred over to BL!!!! It is so cheesy, and maybe BL deserves its own development... but like.... Kdrama?! Lol.

Honestly I’m kind of loving this so far… Does anyone have recommendations for other BL with a similar-ish…
It seems you have already seen Manner of Death. After Where Your Eyes Linger, Tale of Thousand Stars is the best. Phupha is in charge of Tian and there is the whole violence/threat of violence thing going on. Not as much as this show of course.

Release the whole season now. Lol. South Korea has finally made a BL that I think is comparable to regular Kdrama. South Korea is gonna take the BL world by storm!!! Cannot wait.

One thing that Kdrama can't help doing though is second leads and second lead syndrome. I do not think in this one you will like the second lead more than the male lead, but it is still sad.

Oh. Cool. Thanks. "Troublemakers" sounds kind of familiar anyways. I will look out for it.

Honestly, I think KK's aggression is no different than many "semes" in BL. My friend pointed this out to me one…
Maybe there are better examples than Dean. I see where you are coming from.

OK, I love this show, but it is NOT relaxing to watch at all. I'm so stressed out I have to take a break.
I freaked out watching the Japanese version the first time. I just have to turn my emotions off. The point of this show is not about romance. I think the writers wanted to give the feeling of slapping the audience in the face. Whoever gets hurt, it is for the sake of comedy! One thing to think about is if you compare this to ITSAY, it is not stressful at all. After that experience, I can get through any movie or show. hah.

I enjoyed episode 1, 2 & 3 but found episode 4 so annoying. As Siu Muk keeps telling Tin youre an adult and he…
Honestly, I think KK's aggression is no different than many "semes" in BL. My friend pointed this out to me one time that it may just be ageism that makes us see him as "creepy." If you think about Dean in UWMA, Nubsib in Lovely Writer, or someone else like this, I find the persistence of the characters very similar.
