I guess you never heard about the original series? The original one is called Mr.queen and it's about a guy who…
No, I haven't. That is so funny. I have heard of similar plots but this one seems extra funny.

This movie is f*cked. Hahahah.
Dang my comment got erased!

Okay.. I'll write again. (:

1) Someone needs to teach A Lan that, that is not love!

I really enjoyed this and found myself laughing throughout the story because A Lan is crazy. I get why the policeman stopped, but at the same time I was like, "A Lan likes it rough! Keep going!"

On a serious note, A Lan growing up gay in such a conservative community, he only could find any form of love (cuz this aint love) in all the wrong places. He was abused by those he slept with often..

However, I honestly do not think there is anything wrong with A Lan's sexual preferences. Some people like it rough (although not to the extent of getting a cigarette put out on you) just for the sake of it. A Lan's only fault is his whole obsession with the thief and jail keeper and executioner and what not.

I just find this whole film refreshing because it attempts to go after real subjects, and in my opinion it tackles them really well because I see the effects of A Lan's past on his life.

The execution of this film is great. It didn't take me long to figure out that A Lan is crazy. And the policeman is over here like, "I'LL CURE YOU!!" And I am living here because it seems the rougher you are, the more excited A Lan gets. I mean, he did say that giving in is part of love even when he doesn't like whatever he's asked initially... Policeman, you used the wrong methods.

So great movie.

Also this is probably why I enjoy RuPaul's Drag Race so much, but he looked so beautiful in women's clothes, lipstick, and that wig. It's probably just because I like men, but I enjoy seeing men in dresses so much more than seeing women in dresses. I do not understand how he became more beautiful in lipstick, a wig, and a dress. I don't even want to see him in boy clothes anymore.

I really like shows with older gay couples and especially FATHERS! I went to check and one actor may be 41 but the other is 26.. Hmmmmm. That's not older. I'll take it anyways!

not only Thai series,but another country is also doing a lot of weird BL series
Hahahah. I was thinking the Philippines but I wanted them to say it first. I feel like a hater of the PH because I am never interested in their stuff at all. I don't know why, but I still sit through all the sub-par Thai stuff. Makes me feel like I am biased towards Thailand.

BEWARE: Long Comment, Spoils most major plot points.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This story is weird for me. I find that I don't really like either Jamie or Kevin. It's clear this movie was supposed to be one moment in time of their lives. That's why the ending is ambiguous.
I like indie films like this because they're raw in emotion. The characters never say their feelings in words. You're just supposed to infer them. This movie tries to tackle themes of internalized homophobia, maybe depression, and AIDS a little as well.
I found the film didn't teach anything. It really ended where it started.
Kevin had a bunch of unprotected sex with random men because Jamie rejected him which may be linked to his depression (?). I wouldn't be surprised if anyone did what he did with or without depression, but it's unclear how his depression affects his life other than it just seems to mess his life up.
Kevin gives up on his HIV antibody and syphilis test before the doctor draws his blood. He's out the door.
It's clear Jamie suffers from internalized homophobia. Whenever Jamie realizes he still has strong feelings for Kevin, he proposes to his girlfriend.. This coping method is beyond me..
Kevin is a teacher, and he uses his student, a minor (or a boy who recently turned 18, we don't know his age) to make Jamie jealous. When that boy ran away from Kevin and told him that he's horrible, I thought to myself, "Wow this boy is much more mature than you Kevin." Good thing Kevin quit his job! I know that boy, Fai, wouldn't have reported him but Kevin deserves to be fired for having any type of romantic relations with Fai. Disgusting.
What can I say.. I find the scene at the end where Jamie runs up to Kevin and kisses him reductive. Like.. didn't you just get engaged? You can't tell your fiancee to not leave and Kevin to not leave.. You have to pick one. If you want, have your internalized homophobia, whatever.. But leave Kevin alone. Seriously. He probably has HIV and is about to give it to you. Stop taking out your self-hatred on other people....
And maybe everything I'm saying is besides the point. Maybe the movie is just supposed to show two messed up people and that's the whole point. But isn't it supposed to have some type of silver-lining or give me a takeaway? Like I have nothing to takeaway from this movie. Maybe I am supposed to take away, "Life is difficult sometimes"??
Oh. And also. I don't hate the movie. I am just very critical!! I think it's an okay movie. 7/10. Great cinematography, ambience, vibe.. I can see the effort and direction put into each scene. Every scene conveys a unique emotion. It's great artistically in a more aesthetic way..
But as far as value, I don't get any value of this. The movie didn't devastate me into gratitude or depress me into melancholy. I just feel like.. "Man. This story is messed up!" It had very few moments of true beauty. What are my criteria of beauty? Realistic, well-thought-out moments that strike a cord in my heart. This falls short at no cords stricken...
Really. All the BS they made up about Wayu and Thanu in the past is inaccurate because we all know Wayo and Pha's…
I guess you are right I should be less judgey towards Thanu. But he is jumping back and forth between Phai and Wayu knowing they both have feelings or are developing feelings for him. For me it is just hard to watch because I feel like he will hurt both of them no matter who he ends up with or if he ends up with one of them.
The links below don't work anymore, but I actually found this on Amazon Prime. I'm really pleased with the prevalence of gay content out there for me to find and just neeevverr stop watching. There is always more.
After reading this, I'm not completely sure you understand that this is a different story then 2 Moons. Like this…
Gen Y may be in a different universe than 2moons, but the writer wrote this story based on 2moons. It's the same characters with the same actors (like you said) thrown into a different world. It's the writers own continuation of 2moons. So while it's not connected to 2moons in a way as it is THE sequel.. The writer was really attempting to continue the character's stories in a different universe.. so I think the OP is entitled to their own feelings.
For me, I came in watching for Mark and Kit, and I consider them MingKit. They are MingKit for goodness sakes. The writer threw P'Pha under the bus. It may be because of the Godt situation, but it's just the truth.
I saw this series purely because of Mark and Kit but some couples were very attractive if they were given screentime…
Really. All the BS they made up about Wayu and Thanu in the past is inaccurate because we all know Wayo and Pha's past from 2moons, and this show changed it. Kind of annoying because they are just shaping it in the way to fit their own narrative. I know they cannot copy 2moons out right because of copyright, but then just exclude the past! Don't make up non-existent things that we know couldn't have happened. I don't like Thanu. I want Phai and Wayu to run from Thanu. I think he's a cheater.
For me for this show.. everything that's not about Mark and Kit takes forever. Like one episode feels like 10 years have passed. I dunno. I start to like Tong and Pok but I seriously hate Thanu. Can someone create an Anti-Thanu page? I will join it.
