I don't like Thanu. He is indecisive. He acts all romantic with Wayu and then he acts romantic with Phai. And then out of nowhere he decides he will avoid Wayu, and all it takes is his friend to give him a little nudge and then he's back to doing things for Wayu. He tells Phai now that he doesn't want to be with him.. but all the sudden Phai saves Thanu from getting hurt and he switches back from Wayu to Phai again! What a mess....
This show is good. I came in thinking it would be the same as all the other not so popular low budget Thai series, but this one has a little special place in my heart.
The story progression was so simple and in my opinion had very little bumps! The story only gets better as you go along. It starts off questionable and then the story's quality advances so much.
The single father and younger guy relationship followed HIStory 2: Right or Wrong way too closely.. I can't help to think they copied the story line. But if it ain't broke don't fix it, right?! They were my favorite although it's not by much. I also LOVED the main couple. I love how sweet Gawin and Cho are to each other. These two couples are winners.
The dynamics of both couples are really some of the best I have seen. Not completely new, but I haven't seen these dynamics enough. Watching it really felt fresh! The storyline was less predictable than I thought and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I recommend this easy.
Y'all are trying to tell me that Rungtiva might have killed her OWN sister... Whaaaaaaaaatttt. I suspected her at one point.. for like 10 whole seconds in one of the first episodes, but thought no way because that's her sister. Could she really be the murderer? I dunno. That hot police man starting to help them was even more surprising honestly.
And the love between Bun and Tan is still to die for! As far as I'm concerned, this show actually is rewatchable! Well seize the day. I'm over the moon. I LOVE what Thailand's doing. Go Thailand!
Interesting to see a Thai person's comments on this show! For me Sotus is a classic and I still haven't found…
Yeah. You wrote it like you are from Thailand. You say it can be severe in Thailand and then shortly after say that "my university" is one of the most prestigious in "the country" making it sound like you're talking about Thailand. But no problem.
No matter how many I've watched BL thai-shows, I just can't help but come back to this series, honestly. The way…
Interesting to see a Thai person's comments on this show! For me Sotus is a classic and I still haven't found anything as good as it. I can rewatch Sotus again and again, and I probably will for a long time. It's funny to me that people find this series boring. I get it because like you said the story progression is slow, but the story is so meaningful. I find the personalities of Arthit and Kongpab so interesting. They are very complex characters that I enjoy seeing in different situations because Arthit's sulking and Kongpab's arrogance never fail to entertain me.
I think Sotus is one of the most awesome series, and every Thai drama that comes out, I wish Thailand could show me something as amazing as Sotus again, but I haven't found it. Why do you have to be so original and good Sotus?!?!
The first episode was amazing! I am looking forward to this series. I hope it becomes a classic. I say that for everything, but I still haven't found a second Sotus!
I wouldn't say I wasted my time, but I don't have much to say about it either. Bad writing, bad production.. Sea and Tan were really handsome though if that counts for anything. Oil is a beauty... But the story progression, character development... EHHHHHH. That didn't make no sense. I got nothing. None of it made me feel angry or joyful, so I am not inspired to discuss any particular element of the show. It's 540 minutes of whatever! It's definitely better than Oxygen though.
Even with his misconduct, I was still hoping for him to learn and grow. I came to know of him from SMTM 3. I'm sorry he died. With the things he did, maybe he deserved to die though, but I do hope his soul finds its resting place.
I want to give a shout out to the cousin of Shi De. His acting is on another level. I went on his profile and he won an acting award like he should. I am curious why such a talent man took a supporting role in a short production, but I guess he saw some value in it! (I see in the comments he is part of the LGBT or at least LGBT movement -- makes sense) The mains are good actors too, but his skills are way out of their league. He's just naturally gifted.
I agree with everyone else.. The acting is bad, story progression is not that good, etc. But I enjoyed it. Lol. It's not that great but ehhh. It gets a pass.

I enjoyed it. Hahahahah.
