In my opinion the best BL drama out there

I'm honestly baffled by some of the reviews of this drama and have myself wondering if they watched the same thing I did! This drama will rip your heart out and then sew it back together over and over. The characters are adorable and engaging and the story is great. I found myself cracking up at the lack of chill that Pharm and Dean's friends and family seem to have in getting them together. Was giggling like a schoolgirl during the sweet scenes and absolutely bawling during the sad ones. I think that the drama did a good job of handling some really serious issues and by and large steered clear of a lot of the fetishization and toxicity that frequently crops up in this type of drama. The people and situations felt real; well, as real as a story about reincarnation can get! I highly recommend watching this one. I wish it was twice as long.

A harmless bit of fluff

There's no depth here, just a cute BL with lots of silly jealous moments. I base my rating on how good a show is at being the kind of show it set out to be, i.e. not going to judge this one in the same category as Not Me or KinnPorsche. The pacing is a bit weird, things don't really pick up until the 5th episode or so. I wasn't sold on the lead actors chemistry at first, but by the end of the show I felt it worked really well. The spicy factor is pretty low, but were some ACTUAL kissing scenes, which can be few and far between in Korean BLs. The visuals, as one would expect, are off the charts. If you're looking for a mindless fluffy BL to watch that doesn't require a lot of brain cells, this is a good pick.

Very disappointing follow up to a very good drama (minor spoilers)

All the interesting characterization from the drama is turned into a bunch of boring cliches and two of the best characters from the drama aren't really in the movie. Tae-soo (Jo Dong Hyuk) shows up for two seconds, showing he's "found God" (?) and that's why he isn't participating in bringing bad guys to justice. Jung Moon (Park Hae Jin) isn't even mentioned. They are replaced by "hot girl whose crime is scamming scummy men with her hotness" and "maverick, gifted young detective" whose crime was a criminal dying from a heart attack while he was chasing them. Which neatly takes the basic story line of"these are hardened inhuman criminals who are making up for their heinous crimes by catching other hardened inhuman criminals and so regaining some of their humanity" , WHICH WAS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE DRAMA and throws it in the trash. There is no character development, no reason to care about any of the characters and is honestly just boring. It's almost like the creators of the movie thought people liked the drama because of the fight scenes and not because of the complex, extremely flawed characters and the interesting plot. An utterly baffling "sequel".

A strange little tail

After watching this I'm gathering that it was supposed to be the first episode of a low budget web series that didn't get off the ground. The English subtitles pretty bad and are sometimes missing(watched on IQ). The story is silly but could be cute. Cats are actually aliens whose home planet is destroyed somehow. They come to earth and are broken into 2 separate camps; cats who want to live as cats and human companions (some of which can transform into humans) and cats who want to get rid of humans and run earth themselves. The actors try, but there really isn't much of a script to go by, even taking into account the bad subtitling. There is some cute and for the most part well done animated parts. The sound is AWFUL. I assumed they didn't have lapel mics OR a boom mic because when the camera is farther away you can barely hear them, but the little BTS at the end definitely shows a boom. The "fight" scenes gave me second hand embarrassment. At least Jun Chen is cute?

What could be a fun addition to Kamen Rider is bogged down by pretentious uninteresting characters

I really wanted to like this show. Had good actors, great action sequences...but I could NOT STAND the Kamen Rider Alpha character. His whole theme is that he knows he's not human and he's going around eradicating other Amazons because they are monsters and eat people. Presumably this would mean that he values human life. But he so far has wandered around being pretentious and saying pedantic things about "life and death" for what feels like HOURS before he finally gets in a fight-many times letting humans get badly injured or killed. If he doesn't care about human life why does he care that some are getting snacked on? At one point he specifically lets a very minor character die and basically says "Oops". I feel like if they had axed all his stupid speeches the character would have been really interesting and complex, but sadly most of what he says sounds like a 13 year old boy on Reddit trying to be "deep". Kamen Rider Omega at least has none of these dumb speeches, but instead of being infuriating he's just...boring. I'm honestly just watching it for the supporting characters at this point. (though some of the more interesting ones were killed off in like the 2nd episode)
