Title Who Rules the World Spoiler
I think it's more coz the logo on the jade that he found is related to the Yu family (this is according to information…
I'm pretty sure Shifu was initially suspicious of Wuyuan, which is why he brought up the jade pendant to test Wuyuan. Since Wuyuan is very scheming, he made up a story about losing the pendant, which erased Shifu's suspicion toward him. That's why Shifu trusted Wuyuan enough to reveal the truth because Wuyuan has always been seen as very reputable for his "kindness," so Shifu has no reason to suspect him if he's able to explain himself.

I do like it, it just seem that they rush the story, maybe another 10 episode it could wrap up the story much…
Please mark this as a spoiler lmao

are netflix subtitles good or should i watch on youtube or wetv?
As someone who understands Chinese and translates, I think the Netflix subtitles were really good. "Historical" dramas are often very difficult to translate but everything made sense to me.

I am reminded by random dramaland posts that I am still mad about Han Pu
I honestly don't know why they had to do that to him, sighs.

is FL dubbed? her accent and enunciation is really distracting
I'm not sure but I believe the FL is from a more rural area so that could explain the accent.

I also recognized the ML from Princess Weiyoung! He looked fine in that one but they really did him dirty with the styling and everything (you could literally see the fake hair wasn't attached to his forehead properly).

The acting and direction for this was pretty good. I started hating the theme song halfway through. I still accidentally…
To be fair, this is a South Korean drama at the end of the day. South Korea is still *very* conservative, especially when it comes to drugs.

is it bad that i actually hope ji woo would be loyal to mu jin even though he killed her dad? i mean.. i feel…
I think despite the shet that Mu Jin put Ji Woo through, he felt genuinely responsible for her to some extent. He used her but also tried to protect her to some extent. Before Ji Woo found out the entire truth, he was going to get her out. He even wanted to buy her the beach house she talked about. But Mu Jin is such a complicated character. He realized that Ji Woo wasn't going to kill him herself (which is what he kept telling her to do since episode 1), so he killed Pil Do to provoke her. He could've easily shot Ji Woo while she was still in shock, but didn't. This is because he wanted Ji Woo to get revenge for her dad and Pil Do. As he emphasized a few times, the only way things were going to end is if Ji Woo dies or he does.

I see where you're coming from and you make a good point. I'm sorry if I offended you and any future viewers. :(

An actor's skill does matter and I understand we can't always get eye candy for ML, but I don't think this should be an "either or" situation. We can get an ML who can carry the lines well enough and is also good-looking. The ML in this drama just wasn't anything special, so I was upset about why he was chosen as ML. Not just visually. He wasn't stiff (like most idol/rookie actors with little to no acting experience) but he also wasn't ML material. Hmm how do I put this in a nicer way. ; v ; Like when he smiles, looks concerned, cries, or shows different emotions, it doesn't quite change or vary much because of how his face is. (I don't blame him for having the face he was born with. He could do better in a different role maybe but probably not as ML in this drama.) It just didn't feel like he could really carry the ML role to its fullest extent because of his visuals.

I think actors (even if they're not the prettiest or most handsome) can come across as charming/attractive. For example, I didn't think Mark Chao was handsome but found him very charming and attractive in Eternal Love/Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. I also didn't think Oliver Chen who played the prince in "Goodbye My Princess" was handsome either. But again, he was charming and his various expressions really carried through in the drama.

Hopefully, this clarifies things a little. Again, sorry for upsetting you. :(

I wanted to watch this for Peng Xiaoran because she did an AMAZING job in "Goodbye My Princess" but it was so boring, I dropped on episode 3. I'm also not a fan of the ML's visuals :( The styling and everything look really bad.

Title Rebirth for You Spoiler
Why does she never speak her mind when they ask her question? Then she tries looking for ways to avoid things…
I also thought the whole thing was really stupid but I think she never spoke up for herself due to her status as a princess. She is the emperor's childhood sweetheart and the emperor really likes her. It was probably already a done deal that they were going to get married but Baoning doesn't like him. You can tell the emperor knows Baoning doesn't reciprocate his affection but he still tries to force her hand. Baoning doesn't want to upset her grandmother and she also has to follow the rules of the palace. You also have to keep in mind that he is the emperor. She would need a reasonable explanation to cancel the engagement. That's why she had to collect evidence against the emperor before she presented it to her grandmother. The grandmother can't just cancel the "engagement" without a proper reason because the emperor will just find a way to force the engagement and marriage.

She didn't like the marquis but still said yes because she saw how much her grandmother liked him. Her grandmother took her in and raised her, so she respects and loves her grandmother very much. She doesn't want to upset her grandmother and have her grandmother worry about her future all the time. (Keep in mind her grandmother is old and could die from a heart attack at any time. You can tell her health has begun to deteriorate even at the start of the drama.) In addition, she confessed to Li Qian and he said "no." What was she supposed to do? As a princess, she still needs to be mindful of her social status. Li Qian is a nobody. (They made a big deal about it for a reason.)

Hopefully, this sheds some light on what's going on. :)

Title Rebirth for You Spoiler
The low rating made me curious. Is the plot lame? How’s the romance?
I think the reason for the low ratings is mainly because of the villains, specifically the second FL and ML who are extremely delusional. The screenwriters shouldn't have made them the main plot-driving devices because it got tiring really quickly how delusional they were. And it kind of came out of nowhere because in the first three episodes, you can tell they're nice, sensible people. But all of a sudden because of rejection from ML and FL, they become extremely delusional and think of different ways to harm ML and FL and get in the way of their relationship. It‘s stupid and super confusing imo.

The romance was ok. You get some sweet moments and the FL is pretty capable and self-sufficient. However, misunderstandings get in the way of their relationship and they're kind of childish as a result. I personally enjoyed the relationship between two of the side characters (even though their relationship takes up very little screen time in the drama).

My main reason for watching this is because of Ju Jingyi, so that's the main reason why I watched everything.

Hmm what happened to the actor though? His last work was around 2017 .. only 2 drama and 1 movie. Guess he is…
He's a South Korean model, so I assume he just returned to modeling
