Exactly! They were great in The Heart Killers, (Plus the script itself in general was a clever adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew) I just wish they would be given something a little more "meatier" to work with. They almost had something with Dare You to Death but mostly got screwed over with the directing/script on that. I feel they have so much more potential than cutesy low drama stuff. That was great for their first 2 dramas but I just know they could do so much more whatever it is be it a more dramatic, comedy, action, ect role. I am enjoying My Dear Daddy too, like I said I feel this will be well made and good but likely average and nothing particularly different to make it stand out against other stuff that has/ is being made.
I want this to be really good so much...but having read the book and seeing who the director is supposed to be and how closely he adapted Sun From Another Star (which I did like) ...I have a feeling this is going to be more of an average drama. Well done but nothing outstanding or particularly unique. Also based on how long the book was unless they add/change some stuff I feel like it's going to be only 8-10 episodes...I really hope I'm wrong and they do add more to the storyline to beef it up, especially the beginning and middle parts. (I have a feeling it will be similar in vibe and pacing to My Dear Daddy)
Can we point out that in the new trailer we see a nest. Like a legit omega nest! I never thought I would see the day where we would have a live action Omegaverse let alone TWO, one of which includes things like nests.
Could you please tell me which scene was not in the trailer that has people so upset?
I honestly have no idea what specifically people are upset that is cut since many of the scenes are still in the trailer (although some are much shorter snippets compared to the pilot). Some scenes that come to mind that are in the pilot but not the trailer would be maybe the masquerade, Phat cutting himself, Phat holding a gun to Nakhun, the daddy scene, Phat waking up after initially being bitten is different, idk the characters name but a couple of scenes with the young woman as well as the ones with the little girl, and Nakhun and Phat passing eachother on the street before they meet triggering Nakhuns rut. But in general I feel like we saw a snippet of almost every scene from the pilot is in the trailer just maybe slightly modified/shortened plus a couple extra/new ones. I do think the general vibe is a little different between the pilot and the trailer but I think that has a bit more to do with the music than anything. (Which I will say I do prefer the song in the pilot, but to me thats a weird reason to say you won't even check the drama out now because the music is different in a different ad)
Just because its not in the trailer but was in the pilot doesn't mean it was cut from the drama itself. It went from a 14 minute pilot to a 4 minute trailer of course it won't have everything in it. The same thing happened with Your Dear Daddy the pilot seemed darker and the official trailer seemed lighter with one characters background seemingly dropped but watching the drama in the 2nd and 3rd episodes its clear they didn't actually drop that from the drama. So before we go about saying stuff was cut from the drama maybe we should wait for the drama to actually come out.
